I am a very disturbed person who has taken to taking pain killers in excess about 18 per day. I have family problems and my wife does not understand me and is very rude to me.. I am a disgrace to my family as i have got into debt and had my people to bail me out. I have lost all my standing with my family and at 35 years of age i have not achieved anything/no savings and my wife runs the whole house and has even asked me to get out.. She is controlling the house and my daughter who listens to her alone as she is boss.. I am not supposed to interact with my daughter also as she is told her father is a waster.. I have begun praying to Jesus since the last 2 weeks, asking him yo guide me and lift me up from this mess.I have no idea where my life is going and want to stop taking these p[ain killers/but my mental condition without the tablets gets me down.The tablets are the only form of relaxation that keeps me sane.. I am confused and want god to help me. Please pray for me in your prayers.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 58:11.

Do not lose Hope my friend. Follow God's path. I challenge you to lay your worries and fears one-by-one at God's feet in exchange for Hope and Joy in a serious prayer.

"Glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance. Perseverance, character; and character, hope."
-Romans 5:3-4

Also, in the Bible, a lady prays for Jesus to heal her daughter. It seems as if He ignores them. But, after awhile, He says that they have faith, and he healed the daughter. Moral of the story: it takes time to grow, and our sufferings help us grow in our faith.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please help in lighting the path for his life. He is lost, but with You, nobody is lost. You have a purpose for him, with hope and future. May he find that, with your spirit of patience. May he glory in the sufferings, and grow from them. Please soften the hearts of his family so that they open their hearts to him. Please, Lord, be close to their family. Guide him and his family to joy and happiness. Fill their hearts with the holy spirit. We know it is Your will to have a future of happiness for all of them. May you be the lamp for our feet, and the light for our path. In the Holy Spirit, We Pray. Amen.

I Pray that God will set you free from the Pain Medicines your are depending on. I believe that God is going to Heal you. You must give all your cares to Him and trust Him for your Healing. Draw closer to Him and He will draw closer to you. God Bless you for asking for Prayer. ODIE
