I have never done anything like this before, but I do believe in the power of prayer.This is a desperate plea!

My husband is wanting to have a divorce and he says that he is unhappy with our relationship and "burnt out." I want to keep working on it. We have only been through couples counseling for a few months and have had some major crises occur in our first year of marriage. We have been together 10 years and just got married under God this August. I can't convince my husband Michael to try harder and before deciding to have a divorce (wanting this for a month). It has been a while since we have been to church and our relationship is drifting away. I believe we can have a strong marriage again, but I can't think for my husband. Thanks in advance for any prayers you have for our marriage.

Dear Lord,
Please Lord hear the cry of your child. Please Lord bring restoration and Love back into this relationship. Let the both of them put aside their differences and reignite what once brought them to one another. Lord your word says that marriage is honorable. Your word says that the wife can pray for her husband. Please Lord give her husband ears to hear you and to know you again. Let him resume his covenant position as head of the home. Lord I thank you for your grace and your mercy to this couple in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please touch this family and guide them in the way you would have them go. Please soften their hearts so they may understand the other. Help her husband realize the importance of working on a relationship so they will not get "burnt out". For this we pray in Jesus name. AMEN

Lord Jesus be with this marriage and bring healing and forgiveness. Help then to have a burning desire in them to know you better. Father open the heart of this husband and allow his eyes to be opened. Help him to understand that love is a verb and a choice. Give him a desire to stand up for his marriage and fight for the happiness they deserve.
