I am requesting prayer for my relationship. I truly love a man who has hurt me in more ways than one. He has many problems and I have been there for him through everything and I am the one left hurting. I love him and thought that he was the man I would marry and spend the rest of my life with. Please pray that he will soften his heart towards me and will return to loving me. I am depressed and anxious about him and our relationship. I feel so desperate and alone.

Loretta, You are not alone, the Lord is with you, and many people at this prayer site will pray for you. A lot of times we do not understand why life is not fair. It would be great if we could get a return, when it was deserved. Today I will pray for God's will in your life. A lot of times we pray for things to go a certain way, and when they don't we blame God. But, what we fail to consider is that all we only see what is happening today. We have not one clue as to how things would work out, if our prayers were answered exactly like we prayed them. On the other hand God knows everything. He knows what will happen if prayers were answered this way, or that way! ***What if your prayers were answered just like you prayed them, and you could see yourself a few years down the road. What if you had two children, you had gone through a divorce, and this list goes on and on. Would you still pray that things would work out with him? ***The person you are wanting to be with has taken, more than he gave to your relationship. In the bible, it says that love is not selfish. Love is sacrificing for the other. Look up love in the bible, and read what all is says that love is. Then consider the things that you know about your boyfriend, and the way he interacts with you. Does he love you? If the answere is no, then what do you think that you can do (that you havn't already done) to convince him that he should love you. Why do you feel that you have to convince him that you are good enough to love? Please take some time out to think about this. If he is not the right one, by ending the relationship now, you could prevent a lot of heartache. I do not want to depress you anymore than you already are. I just want you to open your eyes so that you make the right decision for yourself! ***I pray that the Lord be with you. I pray that he shines his light in your life, so that you can see the way to do what is best for you. I pray that Your mind is opened to whatever God's will for your life is.*** Are you a christian, and is your boyfriend a christian? It is important to marry a christian!D

Where there is much sin, there is much more forgiveness. Dear father, in the name of Jesus, Bless this dear daughter in all ways. I lift her up to you and ask that you open her understanding with all your love for her. Guide and direct her paths in your ways and your understanding. Send down a miracle of peace to her broken heart to know that all is well and you are in control. Amen.
