My wife handed me paperwork today to begin our divorce and I gently ripped it in 2 and told her I would not willingly enter into sin with her and loved her and intended to stand by her. I confessed that I had not been faithful to her as I was not serving God the past few months as I should have been, my Pastor tells me I have been forgiven and it is forgotten but I need a miracle from God. She will not let me pray for her or pray with me, she wants to hear nothing about the Bible. She needs Jesus more than a marriage reconciliation right now. Please pray for her and our house.

I pray for your wife tonight, and ask that the Lord guide you as to how to handle this. I pray that your wife is given the time to really think about what she is doing. I pray that your marriage is restored.

Chris, I think you need to address with your wife issues of your unfaithfulness because that may be the testimony you are giving to your wife which may be the very reason you have driven her away from GOD. GOD's "grace" is not a get out of jail ticket to sin and then say, " GOD has forgiven me, why can't you?"
In her mind, you, who are a Christian, betrayed her. She sees that as utter hypocrisy on your part. Before she handed you the divorce papers, why didn't you REMEMBER how much you "L O V E D" her before you were unfaithful to her.
All who are called of GOD to a dying world must tread lightly. We are jsut as capable of causing asoul to be lost eternally as we can cause it to be eternally
aligned with Christ.
