I would like to ask for prayer for an aquaintance of mine. Her name is Sherri. I ran into her boyfreind the other day and was told that several months back she had a very bad motorcycle accident. It was touch and go for quite awhile as her liver was almost severed in half and the she suffered from kidneys that were failing her and developed infections on top of all her broken bones. She is finally to the point of rehabilition and I am told that this is when the real pain and frustration will set in because most of the past few months she has been heavily sedated. Now she has to learn how to walk and function all over again. Please lift Sherri up in prayer and also her boyfriend. This accident happened far from home and he has been having to travel back and forth for several months because she couldn't be moved, and he looked totally exhauted when I ran into him. From what I know of this woman she was always very active and very much the athlete. Pray that she will have the strength to meet her new challenges and the new direction her life will have to take.

Father, I lift Sherri up in Prayer to You. She needs to feel your presence as she has to learn all her daily functions all over again. I Pray that she knows You as her Personal Savior and that she will depend on You for the strength she needs to get through this. Comfort her and her boyfriend and draw the two of them closer to You.
