Rep Power: 1 | | Jesus Spirit Speaks Through Others So many times in our lives Jesus is speaking to us through others and if you are too busy to listen you will miss a very important message. Last February My mother passed away from alziemers. The end was not pretty for her at all. My sisters and I went to see her and she was having a very bad day. Did not recognize any of her children and was very agitated and wailing nonstop. We decided that maybe a stroll outside to see some sunshine would help her, so we got her all wrapped up in her wheelchair and took her outside. No matter what we tried we could not comfort her or get her to stop crying or be calm. Then this little man come out to the sidewalk and seeing her in distress starting calmly telling her that everything was going to be O.K.. That Jesus loved her and was making a new home for her in heaven. That it was a beautiful place and he was waiting for her. Shortly after he started talking, she became very calm and listened intently to what he was saying. She then reached her hands and eyes up to the skies and said thank you, several times to the skies and to this man. It was her ONLY cognizant moment of the day.It was her ONLY unagitated moment of the day.The man it turned out was a 92 year old retired Seventh Day Adventist minister. I believe that the spirit of Jesus was speaking through him and that is why he was the only person all day that could calm her. |

Rep Power: 1 | | Lynda, that brought tears to my eyes. My Grandmother also had alzheimers and died about 5 years ago due to it. I believe too that God brings people to us just when we need them. I love that story because it comforts me. Thank you for sharing it with us. |

Rep Power: 1 | | That was a wonderful story. My husband's great grandmother died last year. The night before her passing the whole family was there. There was not enough room on the floor for all of us to sleep. It was like bodies on top of bodies in a small house. She died the next day. A few days before she said that she wanted ice cream and she wanted to pay. Then she told use to keep the kids out of the street. She went way back to the time when her son was hit by a car when he was at a young age. Then she said to some of us that Jesus was standing in the corner waiting to take her home.

Rep Power: 2 | | Lynda, Our church family recently had a loss. An 81 year old man who was dying of cancer.
He was at his home because his prognosis was terminal and he wanted to be in a place with loved ones around him when he went home to the Lord. His wife, son, grandson, and daughter-in-law lived in the same home. In the wee hours he kept rising up from bed and knocking on his son's door. His son, Chad (we'll call him) was getting a little annoyed after 3X of doing this. The man told his son that there was a man in his bedroom that kept nudging him to wake up and he was so startled he ran to his son's room. "Does he talk to you," his son asked? "He told me to write my full name on a piece of paper and bring it to him, so I did, and he came back again and woke me up." "Did he say anything else to you?", his son asked. "He smiled at me and said,'I am going to take you to the Great, Great Physicain." He died in his sleep less than 2 hours later. |

Whew! I'm tearing up with this one. These personal stories bring me closer and closer to the kind of GOD we serve. I am AFRAID "not" to love Him and put my life in His hands alone! |

Rep Power: 2 | | Lynda, my cousin died last year of cancer. She was only 48 years old. She had not went to church, or been religious most of her life. She ended up meeting a guy, whose family new God. She was saved, through thes people's testimonies. I gave a eulogy at her funeral. I told this family that before meeting them, that I had been sad when I found out about Diane's cancer, and the fact that Diane was so far away from her family. I went on to say that after meeting them, and getting to know them, I woul not have put Diane anywhere else in the world. As I could tell how much they all loved her, and cared for her. I believe it was God who placed them in Diane's life at just the right time. As their family witnessed to her, and she got saved! | |
