Rep Power: 1 | | God is awesome!!!! I have been out of work for almost a year and all my needs have been met. There have been times when I didn't know how I was going to make it and by God's grace I was able to persevere. I am looking for work and I know in God's time I will find the right job. Praying.org has helped me keep focused on God's mighty power. I thank all my prayer partners for their continued prayers.
God's blessings,
optimistic2

Rep Power: 2 | | God has begun to restore my marriage.
***There was a time that I felt it was hopeless. As my husband had left for the third time, and for the second time was asking for a divorce. In Dec. of '07 I had pretty much given up on the marriage, and was waiting for him to file the papers. This is when I came accross this prayer site. I was very depressed.
***I began to ask for prayers for the decisions that I faced, and asked for prayer for the Lord to guide me. ( Decisions like whether to sell my home, and whether to move out of state to my Sister's for support etc. Many major decisions like this.)
***In the meantime my husband had had mafor heart problems, and had a triple bypass. It was then that he called me, and asked to see me. We did see each other, and it went well. We are now talking every day. He is no longer asking for a divorce, and we have begun the process of working out our problems. He also has gotten into church, and has said that he has made a committment to the Lord. He has also shown progress on not being so stubborn with me, and is willing to compromise! Praise God!!!
***Things are still not perfect, and I am still praying that the Lord will continue to work on both of us. We still need to be sensitive to each others needs, and feelings. But we are a far cry from where we were just a few short months ago!!!

kweig,
Just shadowing your posts/threads I have watched so much progression within what I think is a short amount of time. You have given your life over to GOD and GOD is working behind the scenes and doing things for you that you haven't even imagined to ask Him for. Your posts are deeply encouraging...even we need encouragement...you spend a good deal of time to encourage others and you make it plain and simple to understand. I find myself amazed at some of your prayers and words of encouragement. GOD works and speaks through His own. May He keep working a good work in and through you. Stay blessed! | |
