Default share the love of jesus! :)

I was reading my bible to day and i decided i wanted to share the message i read with you all. Have you ever been to the store and seen someone crying or looking sad and down or mad? i am sure you have. Well anyways i see people all the time and i always want to ask them whats wrong but i neaver do, i always want to ask someone if they needs help if they would like my assistance but often put it a side. its time for us to stop doing this.
In Matthew 5;13, Jesus tells us we are the salt of the earth, but if salt losses its taste it is not good for anything anymore. It says that all life is tasteless without love. Even acts of genorosity that are done out of obligations, but without sincere love, we are empty. Love represents the salt its the energy and flavor of our lives. Everyday can be exciting if we see ourselves as gods secret agents, waiting to sprinke the salt on the tasteless broken down people of this world. when you want to help someone or want to say something to someone do it its probably god talking to you. If you see a sad women or man or a child at the store or in the mall spread your love of jesus on them, let you light shine dont hold ot back, what else do we have better to door offer to thos world. teach others of the great mercy and love jesus has for us. We are messangers and we need to spread his word to other around this sometimes very cold world. I would feel so bad if i could have saved someone from the pit of hell and just because i felt a little imbaressed i didnt. lets live for jesus
spread his word!!!!!!!!

TONYIA; God Bless you for sharing this with us. You are so right on. We are to Spread His Gospel. That was the last instructions that our Lord gave to his Disciples. The Great Commission that Jesus gave His Disciples found in Matthew 28:18-20; Mark16:15-18; Luke 24:44-49.

My Bible Commentary gives me some reason why we should share our faith in Jesus Christ.

1. Because God has commanded us to do so. Jesus last words while on earth. Acts 1:8
2.Because it demonstrates ou love foor God. Jesus said if we love him we will keep His Commandments. John 14:15
3. Because all are Lost. Romans 3:10, 23
4. Because our sharing is God's chosen method to tell all People. God sends the redeemed to witness to the lost. Romans 10:14-17
5. Because God desires to save all people. Acts 4:12; 2 Peter 3:9; 1Timothy 2:3,4
6. Because someone once shared his faith with us. We were introduced to the Love of God by a Godly Individual who lead us to Jesus. They have the right to expect that we will do for others what they have done for us.

I use to think of this walk with the Lord liken to a Sponge. When we are new Christians we wanted to absorb as much of the Lord as we can. Our Sponge becomes full. Now that our Sponge is full, we must let out what we have absorbed to Bless others with what God has done for us. SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF JESUS.

God Bless you for your Post. ODIE

Dear Tonya, you have shared a great truth..... and we need, no must do it. This is the will of our LORD Jesus. And this is one way we can serve Him.

What good is it that we are saved if we are not serving Him regularly and consistently? May your testimony encourage both you, me, and all those reading it.

In just a few paragraphs, Tonyia, you descrobed....J E S U S.....He is pure, untainted LOVE, TRUTH, and LIFE. What we do with our lives is a testimony to the cold, indifferent world that we carry the seed of JESUS. We bring hope, love, light, joy...to the hopeless, those who live with hate inside of them, those who live in darkness, and those who are lost. Every single human being was bourn with a gift(s) to change this cold, unfeeling, world for Jesus. Thank you for that word. I feel (100%) the same way. "Arise, let your LIGHT so shine..."

tonyia, Thank you for sharing such a big truth. I understand what your saying because I have felt that way too. I see people in the street looking sad and I feel for them but never get to talk to them. So you are right we should do something about it. We should show the Love of Jesus by helping others. God bless you.

Last Sunday my minister challenged the congregation to "2 a day". He challenged us all to get a list of the church directory and pray for two families a day. With over 600 church members and each praying for a least 2 a day, just think of the impact all that praying for each others families will have. This simple act of love could spread like wildfire.

Well, Linda, we don't have 600 people in our church yet, but I think I am going to do that...pray for 2 families a day. I think I will share this idea with our Pastor. Thanks for putting that out there for those who love to pray for others.

I really love tonya's reminder of getting out of our comfort zone and teaching others what God's love is all about. The other day I was at the grocery store and I was behind this young couple who was trying to buy some food for themselve and their two month old baby, but the cashier wouldn't take their foodstamps, so I just bought their items for them, without a second thought. I would like to believe that this is how God wants us to live our lives. I also love the idea about praying for two families a day. This is a wonderful idea and I am so excited to start praying for a differnt person everyday. Be blessed.
