Response to admn;
When I have second thoughts about a situation, or someone, I pray long and hard about it. I pray to our Father that he let me simply walk with a skip in my step because if a person is going to try and step on me, there isn't much I can do except be swift to move out of their way. Sometimes having second thoughts is a good thing b/c it means you are alert to the potential dangers of evil and sinners. I agree with ZephThree17 said, Don't be deceived by bad company. There are many practicing Christians that would love to share his word, so it's a waste of time to spend time worrying about others who are ultimately not of the same cloth. I do believe God gave us intuition for a reason though. If your intuition is strong about something, then listen to it. And pray. Pray that God will grant you the wisdom needed to make the right decision, be it a break-up, starting or ending a kinship. Hand it over to God b/c only he can be the ultimate judge.

Dito Sister. I agree with handing it over to God, as we only know what we see. God knows the entire story, and what the out-come will be. I've learned that trying to handle everything on my own is a huge burden to bare, and I sometimes have messed my life up as a result. As far as staying out of evil peoples way, it is difficult. As we are in this world, but we do not have to participate in it. I pray that God guide in your decision making, and keep you out of harms way! Sincerely, kweig.

The hardest part, no matter how strong we are in Christ, is KNOWING that you have to be the responsible one and sever the relationship because it doesn't edify or strengthen who you are in Christ. Between ourselves and GOD, if and when we resign ourselves to a lost relationship that doesn't magnify or edify GOD, then it's heart wrenching to say, "I love you, but I love the Lord more. I' will miss you. Take care of yourself." GOD is our Source and He will never fail us. Once in awhile we have to buck up and do the RIGHT thing for His glory and honour.
