on new years eve i got in an argument with this girl and i physically hit her and i feel so bad because i didin't want to i know it's never ok to hit someone but i let myself be pressured into it and ever since then i feel so bad and i'm really seeking the lords forgiveness because i should have known better and i did know better i just wish i would have stood up for myself and not have done something i didin't believe in.

I respect you for coming on here and admitting to this. People make mistakes, I have made many myself, and then thought, "What did I just do??", but I knew I was in the wrong, I apologized to the person and we moved on. I was forgiven, and I am sure you will be too. God Bless you and know God will forgive you, you are still a good person.

Sorry, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I must. You see, there is only one who is truly Good Jess. Jesus even says it himself in Matthew 19:17.... " Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments." You see, Jesus could do no Good unless he remained in the Father. And in turn we can do no good unless we remain in the Son. "If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5. The relationship between Good and being a good person can be shown in Matthew 7:11. Jesus says "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!" Make no mistake about it...we are truly evil without Christ. So please remain in Him, and I shall pray that he remains in you. God Bless!

I understand what you are saying, but I was just giving my opinion on this person's situation. People make mistakes, and I do not judge, just as God does not judge. I remain in Him and I am sure other's still do too, even when making wrong decisions. What exactly are you correcting me on? You cannot correct an opinion, you can just give yours. It says that we are all born into a sinful world, we are made of sin we all make mistakes the point is that we learn not to do them over. look to jesus for forgiveness and he will take care of the others hurt in this situation, god forgives you as long as you repent and are sorry for what you have done, we are all human and do things wrong

Do not feel bad about yourself, we have all wronged before. You must move forward and not be bogged down by actions of the past.

Have you asked her for her forgiveness?? I pray that you have done this and that she has forgiven you. If not, thats the first step you must do. When you are reconciled to your your girlfriend in recieving her forgiveness (Pray that she will accept your forgiveness) then you can have Peace in your heart that God will forgive also.
