I recently signed up for prayer.org and I decided to do so after reading the request and responses on the site. I cannot say I think the responses are "artificial". I look at it this way for someone to take the time to respond speaks volumes to me. It's easy to over analyse people's motives or intentions. I was encouraged by quite of few of the postings and enjoyed reading some of the blogs. I do believe that it is human nature for people to want to be preceived in a certain way. Therefore we choose our words carefully or lay it on thick in some cases as well. That is more of a communication style style to make sure our message is getting across clear and concise. Overall, we should never turn down an oppurtunity to be a blessing to someone when we can.

There are a variety of topics people discuss on praying.org. I believe those who say what they mean - mean what they say. Otherwise it would be a waste of everyone's time and energy. I think what matters is that people leave the site feeling positive, hopeful and uplifted. Prayer is very powerful.

I believe and agree with Admin. This site is meant to help people in many ways. I know there are an endless amount of people here, who are going through tough times in their lives, and I hope this can be a stepping stone in your journey to happiness. I do not judge anyone here, whether you attend Church everyday, or at all, you are still a good person. God hears our prayers and this is a place that uplifts and supports those in need, and much more. God Bless you all and Thank you for your words and thoughts.

I do not attend church, and yet I see what prayer can bring: hope and happiness. The sense that God is with us always is unbelievable (yet believable).

You are doing a great job so far, Doug. The more you interact, the more you will familiarize yourself with everything. As with anything new, it takes time.
