Rep Power: 1 | | -Stepping Stones- ..he broke them down with hard labor, they fell and none could help them rise again. Then they cried to the Lord in their troubles, and he rescued them!
( Psalm 107:12, 13 tlb )
Trouble is something no one can escape,
Everyone has it in some form or shape-
Some people hide it way down deep inside,
Some people bear it with gallant-like pride,
While others rebel and become bitter and old
With hopes that are dead and hearts that are cold.
But the wise man accepts whatever God sends,
Willing to yield like a storm-tossed tree bends,
Knowing that God never makes a mistake,
So whatever He sends they are willing to take.
For trouble is part and parcel of life
And no man can grow without trouble and strife,
The trouble men try to escape and reject,
For in our acceptance we're given great grace
And courage and faith and the strength to face
The daily troubles that come to us all
So we may learn to stand straight and tall.
For the grandeur of life is born of defeat
And in overcoming we make life complete.
"Father open my heart to the realization that what makes me strong and capable of finding happiness in this life is not the absence of trials and troubles but rather the growth of my ability to cope with those problems."
This is a poem from one of my favorite writers, Helen Steiner Rice, and I wanted to share it with you all here. Know that no matter what is going on in your life at this moment, that God is with you all, and He will guide you to complete happiness. He will Bless us with the Strength and Wisdom to get trough any troubles we may face. The greatest things in life are waiting for us right around the corner, and He is holding our hand with His Comfort, as we look at each day as a New one. God Bless you. Amen and Thank You God for Hearing our Prayers.

Rep Power: 1 | | Dear Jess, there is so much truth in this poem. Because i have experienced this truth myself. But regardless of what i may have experienced, long long time ago, a truly righteous man Job experienced it, and Peter also talks about the purpose of and reason for suffering and what our attitudes should be in His letter in 1 Peter. Knowing that God never makes a mistake,
So whatever He sends they are willing to take.
... and this is a great truth and the most appropriate response respectively.
Thank you Jess for sharing this poem.

Rep Power: 2 | | In a nutshell, this poem reminds me of GOD's encouragements that once we overcome we will truely know the rewards of our Eternal destination. R E V E L A T I O N 2 : 7 "He who has an ear,
let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.
To him who overcomes, I will give the right
to eat from the Tree of Life,
which is in the Paradise of GOD." |

Rep Power: 2 | | LORD of Hosts, we pray that others will see Your joy in our lives. Your Blessings, and Favor; for You have clothed us with the garments of salvation and covered us with a robe of righteousness. (Isaiah 61:10)
Amen and Amen

Rep Power: 2 | | I came accross this poem again today. It has been awhile since I read it, and it is again blessing me today.
***I want to quit looking at problems through the eye's of "DOOM, AND GLOOM", and start to look at: What is the Lord trying to teach me today? How can I use this as a building block in my life, instead of a stumbling block?
***If I could just quit thinking negatively, then the problem wouldn't seem so big. I would not let it affect me for as long as I do. I could be much happier. I have waisted a lot of my life focusing on too many problems, and spending too much time doing it! I have not tried to look at it from this poems point of view!
***Lord, please forgive me for grumbling, and not giving my problems to you. Please forgive me for not trusting in you to work them out for me! I am truly sorry. Please help me to do a better job from here on out. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen!!!
