Please pray for my 20 year-old son, Brett. God has given him so many gifts (extremely high I.Q. and tremendous musical talent), however, he is addicted to marijuana, has an anger problem and recently told me he doesn't think Jesus ever existed. I was forced to call the police 2 1/2 weeks ago because his anger had escalated to the point that he became physical with me. He was truly sorry for his actions afterwards (he always is), but I could not tolerate the behavior any longer.

He has been staying with friends (who also smoke marijuana), sleeping on the floor and enduring other hardships. He enrolled in a new college and got a job. He seems to be trying, but under the circumstances, I don't know if he will succeed (he already quit the job due to the problems associated with not having a consistent place to stay).

The whole thing is tearing my heart apart. I will be talking with him tomorrow face-to-face for the first time since the incident. Please pray that he will be receptive to what I have to say. Pray that he will want to completely change his life. Pray for his salvation and deliverance from drugs and anger. Pray for his safety and, until the time is right for him to come home, a place to stay that is drug-free.

I love this boy more than words can say. Pray for me as I continue to do this very difficult, but necessary thing for Brett.

Oh, I hear your request and I am praying for you and for Brett. Be strong and remember you are only doing this to help him, not hurt him. Stay strong, god will hear your prayers and deliver your son from evil. God bless

Father, Hear the Prayer of this mother who loves her son. Deliver Brett out of the bondage of drugs. Save Brett from the destructive path he has chosen. Bring them both together that they may Love and Cherish each other as mother and son should. I feel that Brett needs his mother now more than ever. God Bless her for asking for Prayer. ODIE
