I need help. I am divorced with a 10-year-old son. I am wanting to, at some point, move out of state due to a new job (I have a Master’s Degree and live in a small town which prevents me from using it). I now have someone very special in my life, and my ex-husband is jealous, angry and resentful. In order to prevent me from moving with my son, my ex-husband has threatened me, accused me of false allegations and has done his best to scare me to the point that I will give up. He is threatening to take me to court and take my son away from me. Please, please pray for me. I am so scared, and I don’t know what to do other than to use any money that I have left to hire an attorney, and even then, I don’t know if I’ll be safe. I have tried so hard to work with him to come to some sort of compromise, such as allowing my son to stay with him until he finishes elementary school, and then come live with me when he begins middle school. I’ve also offered to give him time with our son during school breaks, as well as the whole summer break, as well as bear the expense of flying him to my new home to spend time with our son. I’m trying to come to a compromise so that our son doesn’t have to live without either of us, as my intention in moving isn’t to take our son away from my ex-husband, but it seems that he wants nothing more than to tear me apart and destroy me, and anyone else that I care about and love in the process of getting what he wants. Please, please pray for me that I’m allowed to move with my son (whenever the courts allow it), that my son is protected, that those that I love are not hurt through this process. I beg of you to please, please help me. I feel so helpless… Charmaine

I am so sorry to hear of all the stress you are going through, and of your ex-husband's selfishness, but know God is here and is listening to our prayers. I know it must be very hard, trying to do all this on your own, so know that there are people here to help you. I believe you should talk with an attorny, and explain your entire situation to them, and see what information they can give you. I believe your ex-husband needs to let you go, especially if you are wanting to move, in order to better yourself and your loved ones. You are a strong person, with a big heart, so don't ever give up on what you believe is the right thing to do. This is your life, and God, as well as other's, want you to live happily. I pray that this person's ex-husband will gain God's Understanding, Faith, and that the evil and hate inside him, be removed. May Charmaine be lead down the right path, and when needing help, Please guide her the way she needs to go; and with the right people by her side. Please Bless her and her loved one's, so they may all move on and live with peace, love, and understanding; leading to a very blessed, happy life, wherever place they may be in.
