Almighty God, GOD of all Hope, we bring Delestine and her family to You now, because they truly have nowhere else to turn. All appears hopeless, LORD, because of the report of circumstances taking place in Delestine's body. Despite this, however, we turn to You, Your Word declares that "Christ in me is the hope of glory." LORD Jesus Christ, fill Delestine's heart with Your hope so that she might be able to glorify You in the midst of suffering and that she might be enabled by Your Spirit to hope unto the end.
We know that it is not Your will for Delestine and her family to live in discouragement and despair. We recognize that a sense of hopelessness is the work of the enemy. We renounce all hopelessness now and we replace it with the faith and hope Your Word promises.
Help Delestine and her family to be like Abraham who believed in hope against all hope. Fill Delestine with hope, joy, peace, and faith in Your Son Jesus Christ so that she will abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
LORD, You have commanded us NOT to worry about anything. Instead, You want us to spend our time in prayer and supplication and to let our requests be known unto You with thanksgiving.
Standing on the promises of Your Word, therefore, we come unto You now. LORD Jesus, believing that Delestine and her family receives Your love as we pray and we place all of her worries and cares; and the worries and cares of her family members into Your hands, knowing fully that YOU take care of everything that is given to You. Thank You for caring about Delestine and her family so much.
LORD Jesus, You are the Great Physician. All healing comes from You. Thank You for caring so much about Delestine who is ill. Thank you for Your healing power. Your Word says that "Healing is Your childrens bread" It says that "You are the LORD that heals me." And that "By Your Stripes We Are Healed." That You took our infirmities and carried our sickness.
As we partake in Your Holy Communion, we pray that Delestine hears You, LORD, saying to her, "Take, eat, This is My body, which is broken for you." May she see Your eyes burning with love as YOU say to her, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you." May Delestine see You, LORD, taking her sins in YOUR body on the cross. See You, LORD taking on Your body her physical conditions too. Whatever disease she has, see it on Your body, LORD Jesus the Christ. So that it is no longer on Delestine's body. May Delestine see Your health LORD, come on her. Surely You bore Delestine's sins and carried her diseases. Blessed be the name of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! Who was and is and forever shall be! Hallelujah! Amen and Amen. |
