I am suffering right now in my own mind. i am imprisoned in my own head I need help so bad. I am so Tired. I dont know how much more of this i can take. I feel an overwhelming sense that i want to live for God but i need healing. please pray for me

Toby, this Psalm was written by David during a time when he was fleeing from Saul. He had been wandering from place to place. He was in exile from his own people and constantly living among strangers, even enemies. His life was continually being threatened. It is an outpouring of David's confidence in the LORD and trust in His care for him in every moment of his life even to the point of death. With the Father's loving care and concern there could be no reason to fear even before his enemies.

My prayer is that the Good Shepherd will constantly remind you, Toby, of His care and love and His protection He has wrapped around your life.

Like the song "Be Strong And Take Courage" says:

Do not fear or be dismayed

God's Word says we are to have the Mind of Christ. Our own minds can bring fear and torment when we dwell on our circumstances. Satan can and will torment us and bring fear to our hearts and mind.
