Praying.org has introduced a radically new feature on the web that allows this praying community to SEND or REQUEST prayer support when you need it most. This new feature sends a quick email to whomever is requesting support, to let them know that they have just been prayed for.

When you ask for prayer support, others will be able to click and instantly send you a quick email to let you know that you are not alone.

For security reasons, the sender and the recipient will never see each others email address. All mail is routed through the Praying.org server for your protection.

There are two parts to this feature... Requesting prayer support and Offering your support to another who is in need.

If you would like others to send you their support during your time of need, click the "Prayer Request Icon" as you are writing your 'New Thread'...



Advanced users can do the same thing manually by using BBCode, for those familiar with posting in forums. The specific code for this looks like...

and it will be changed into the prayer icon automatically when you post your thread.


To Offer your support to another who is asking for it, click the icon in their post. An email letting them know they have just been prayed for will be sent instantly. It's that easy.

Please pray for me and my 27 year old daughter. She is a recovering drug addict and has a 2 year old daughter. She has recently moved home from South Carolina and is going through a divorce. I am fearful that she is not making wise choices at this time. We have always had an unhealthy dependency on each other and I need help in trying to break the co-dependent cycle. Please pray for her and for me. I need help in breaking away from the unhealthy relationship and letting go and letting God. PLEASE HELP, I'm hurting terribly.

First, I want to let you all know that I will be praying for each one of you, for every trouble you are going through. Ryde40, I understand what you are going through, because my mom had a problem with my brother, who also was and is, a recovering addict.I posted a blog about his recent miracle recovery from Hepatitis C, thanks to all the prayers. This is something you must leave in God's Hands. I know how hard it is letting go, but sometimes you have to do things you may not want to do, in order to find the answers to your problems. I know in time, God will heal all wounds within your family and especially for your daughter. I pray for her to realize nothing good comes from drugs, running from your problems will not make them go away, and for her to gains as much strength as possible, to help her overcome any obstacles that are keeping her from moving on and having a healthy, positive life. The future holds endless opportunities, and I pray the doors are opened for her, you, and anyone else struggling with problems like this, or in any way. i am so sad, on new years eve the person i love walked on me and his daughter. I have been prayer for him to come back I need the lord in our lives. he is trying to stop drinking and had been on the wagon for a month but fell off on new years eve. Help i feel like killing meself.. please pray that things will work out for us.
