There is power in prayer and there is power in the Living Word of GOD. Combine these two sources with the power of the Holy Spirit and explosive spiritual energy is unleashed in the believer's life resulting in renewed faith, victory and answered prayer.
"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." (Jeremiah 33:3)
Abba Father, please keep kat1982 in the center of Your will. Prevent her from being tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness. (Ephesians 4:14)
Father, help kat to learn Your ways. Lead her in the paths of righteousness. (Psalms 23:3)
May kat always remember that the fear (respect, reverence) of the LORD is the beginning of all wisdom. (Psalms 9:10)
Bring friends to kat who will be a source of great encouragement to her. Protect her from the evil one.
May kat's greatest desire always be to follow in Your steps, LORD. (1 Peter 2:21) Bless her and use her to bring glory to Your name. In Christ Y'shua's name we pray. Amen and Amen.
kat, it's our human nature that causes us to become impatient - what we want to see, is the miraculous, instantaneous answers to our prayers. But, that’s not what all of them are. If GOD doesn’t answer someone instantly, we don’t think He’s done anything.
However, when we pray, faith does play a part. We can’t see what has happened in the spirit realm, and that’s where answers come from. GOD may very well have done the necessary work, even though our natural eyes can’t see the results of it yet. We must continue to stand in faith, if we are going to see GOD bring forth the manifestation of His answer.
In the tenth chapter of Daniel, the prophet Daniel mourned and partially fasted for three weeks seeking an answer from GOD (Dan 10:2-3).
At the end of this time, an angel appeared to him to give him an answer to his questions (Dan 10:5-6, 11).
The answer this angel gave to Daniel reveals something about the arrival of our answers.
“Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy GOD, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” (Daniel 10:12-13)
Notice that it says the angel had been dispatched on the very day that Daniel set his heart to understand and to chasten himself before the LORD... and to receive the answer. However, due to demonic opposition, it took 21 days for the answer to get from heaven to earth.
When we pray for the answer to any problem, we tend to expect instant answers. Yes, GOD answers instantly, but the answer doesn’t always arrive in our hands at the moment that GOD dispatches the answer to us. Sometimes, just like Daniel had to stay in faith waiting for his answer, so do we.
If you stop standing in faith for your answer, you can be guaranteed that you won’t receive it. During that 21 days, Daniel had Not stopped seeking and confessing.
Having Done All, Stand
If you don’t see the answer to your prayer immediately, don’t lose hope! GOD is still moving on your behalf.
As long as you continue to speak words of faith. Don't give the enemy the victory by losing faith in GOD.
But, when you start saying words of doubt and unbelief, talking about how sick you are, and ready to give up, and how GOD hasn’t answered your prayer... you play right into the enemy's hands. The enemy knows - that - "Without Faith It Is Impossible To Please GOD" (Hebrews 11:6)
...and that - "Whatever Is Not From Faith Is Sin.." (Romans 14:23)
In the book of Ephesians, Paul writes “take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:12). How long do you stand? Until you receive GOD's answer.
Praise the LORD! And Trust Your heavenly Father, He is perfecting those things which concern you. Amen and Amen
