Lord Heavenly Father,
We thank You for Your love and grace. Thank You for what Jesus has done on the cross: sins we commit are being paid for by a sinless God. Even more amazing is that many rebuke His gift for us. Talk about injustice... righteous serving the unrighteous. Lord, we want to thank You for this eternal gift You've given us. Thank You for the one key to enter Your kingdom, all based on Your love for us.
We pray for "unregistered" and his drive to live for You. Lord, he/she knocks... and as You have said: Knock and the door will be opened to you. Lord, may You present opportunities for him/her to serve You. As we put You first in all things, You will indeed supply all the desires of unregistered's heart. This is Your promise, and not a word will be left undone. Thank You for these promises of love, Lord!
Lord, You are always with him/her. There is never a moment You are not in control of. We ask that, now, may we be aware of Your everlasting presence in us. Please work through us to serve others. Please work through us God. We are your servants. May our faith in You grow everyday. May the slander in our lips be cast away. May our hearts be pure, and our minds filled with peace as we live and walk in Your word.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11. This is truth, and may this truth be ESPECIALLY relevant in "unregistered"'s life at this time. You have a purpose for us all. Let us not base Your love on 'how great our day was' or 'how good this moment is.' No... You are more concerned for our glory in serving You, and in our salvation. True love. Selfless love. When a mom hears her kid happy but doing something wrong, she is sometimes timid in stopping him. The kid is happy, but the mom doesn't want to make him feel worse. Why? For her sake... she enjoys being in the midst of her child's joy, even though it is not of good intentions.
In contrast, the Lord is selfless. He cares about You and I and our growth. He JUMPS on the opportunity to change us for His glory... for eternity. Forgive us Lord for judging our feelings and emotions on Your love for us. For this, we ask You guide us Lord. The road may be choppy, but may Your rock of salvation stand strong, and be our fortress to lean on. May you instill peace in "unregistered"'s heart and mind. May they experience the true joy of serving You. May they understand the purposes of his/her life. Thank You God, for I know they will soon know the path You have created just for him/her. In Jesus' Blessed Name We Pray. Amen. |
