Please pray for my family members to know that salvation is only through Christ. They are born in christian families, but were raised among the Gentiles and are influenced by the pagan culture that makes them think and argue differently. My mother taught in a pagan school and their belief system has got entrenched in her. She gets abusive and speaks awful things at times. I so hated her for all the wrong words...she would call me a prostitute, insult me and cause me much embarassment among people. I began to think I am all that she called me and kept getting into relationships that lusted for my body. My father belted me when he got angry over my studies and eating habits. I contemplated suicide many a times. I too abuse her when I can't contain my anger against her especially when I get irritated with her ways. I suddenly lose my temper and I begin to raise my voice and hands on her in frustration. My sisters too have an abusive tongue.. especially when stressed and angry.. My brothers in law blaspheme Christ. My sisters have to adjust in such marriages. I do not want to sin but I am weak in this area. I ask God to pardon me and all my family members. I plead for forgiveness. Please pray for salvation of all our family members and for restoring me the joy of salvation.
