My friends wife is suffering from clinical depression and their marriage is under a lot of strain. They have been married for about 12 years and have 2 beautiful daughters aged 11 and 9. She is a dentist and he is a psychiatric doctor (how ironic!). They met at university and had the best marriage ever but in the last few years, the devils seems to have distorted her perception with a lot of lies and she's just gone downhill. She's gone missing for a while, has been hospitalised and is now under medication. Their once happy home is now very sombre. The happy-go-lucky and friendly husband is pushed to wall. The sadest bit was when the 11 year old daughter told her father that she would support him if he divorced her mom.

Please pray that the wifes life is restored and she stops believing the lies of the devils and starts seeing and doing life from God's perspective. God lifts depression. Please pray that her depression is lifted and she goes back to being a happy, loving person, wife, mother and friend. Pray that joy, peace and happiness returns to their home and into the life of the husband and children. Also pray that God brings them a support network that would stand by them, speak life into their lives and cheer them on.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please be with OC and his family. Please place your hand of healing on his wife that she may be healed from the mental illness that seems to be taking over her hope for happiness. Please place a shield around her so that no negative thoughts can pass through to her mind. Help her and OC have a burning desire to put you first in their marriage and to seek comfort from you and your word. For this we pray in Jesus name. AMEN

Lord we lift this couple to you. Be with this husband who under a lot of stress, and strain. Grant him the strength to see this through. I pray that the Lord helps this wife who is depressed. I pray that she begin to come out of this depression, and begins to live life anew. I pray for the children who are being affected. Let them have some peace in their lives! I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen!!!

Heavenly Father, I continue to lift this family up to you in prayer. Send some relief to this husband, and father. Let your healing touch heal this mother. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen!!!

Dear Lord, Bring back the happiness once this family enjoyed. Take the grief away from this family. I pray for complete healing for this wife, mother and a woman in her own right. May she completely recover and be able to give the same love to her family. I pray for her husband, that he may be more patient. I pray for her children, that they may understand their mother better. That she is just going thru a phase. Jesus put your healing hands on her and take away the depression. Thank you and praise you Lord Jesus.
