Please agree with me in prayer for my son Ricky:

~)~ Let Ricky be good ground, LORD, so that with a good and honest heart, he will hear Your Word and keep it, and so bring forth fruit with patience. You, LORD, commanded us to possess our soul through patience. Ricky will strive, therefore, to let patience have her perfect work in his life so that he might be found perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Laying aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets him, Ricky determines in his heart to run with patience the race You have set before him, always looking unto You, Yahshua ha Moshiach, the author and finisher of his faith.
The promises of Your Word cannot fail. How I thank You for those promises.
LORD, it is Ricky's desire to do what you've called him to do. Help him to be content in well-doing, trusting You to bring the increase in every area of promise. Ricky awaits Your coming LORD, with patience, as the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth and has long patience for it. Help him to be patient, LORD; to establish his heart, for Your coming draws nigh. Maranatha!

***Dear ZephThree17, my son is 14 years old. He has never been in any major trouble, but sometimes he has lied, and has been dishonest. It is only small things that he is lying about, and being dishonest about, But everyone who goes off track starts out small, and progresses to big trouble's. Please pray for him, as I believe he is at a cross road in his life. Pray that I can head him off at the pass, before things get out of hand. Thanks, kweig!!!

Christian737, I don't have any idea who Randy is? And Amanda I've never met! I belong to a few other intercessor prayer chains - and whenever someone from one of my prayer groups learn of an urgent prayer need- they email (or telephone) the urgent prayer request to every intercessor on our prayer chain.

Thank you for praying though, however, on this page I only need prayer for Ricky my son. I don't even have a daughter.

Kweig, Ricky is my youngest son, 19 yrs. old, still living at home. And he loves the Lord and seeks the Lord with all his heart. I am certain that the Lord is teaching him to be patient and wait upon Him. Ricky has been given a vision of the plans God has for him... and since things are not falling into place fast enough for him, he is starting to become frustrated and starting to question whether or not he really heard from God. I believe Ricky has heard very clearly from the Lord. But I also know to step back and let God be God in Ricky's life. I can empathise with what Rick is going through. I've been through the same things myself. I had to come to realize that everything is in God's timing, not in my timing. Whatever the lessons are that each person needs to learn - God will teach us that lesson. And right now, Ricky is being tested by the Lord. I can't remember how many times I have been tested by our Lord in my own walk with him. How many times I have had to remind myself - And now I remind Ricky - "It's A Test, Pass It" -

The Lord is preparing a people who are ready for Him.

Abba Father, I ask You to fill Rick with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understandings. This will enable him to walk worthy of You, Lord, unto all pleasing and to be fruitful in evry good work, increasing in the knowledge of Your ways. Thank You for this promise of wisdom.

LORD Yahshua, You are the wisdom and power of GOD. Because Ricky is in You - and desires always to abide in You - You are made unto him wisdom, and righteousness, sanctification and redemption. It is this reality that causes him to glory in You forever. Hallelujah! Thank You! Amen and Amen

I pray in the name of Jesus that Ricky be blessed with patience as he waits upon the Lord. Father, fill him with knowledge of your will for him. Bless him, guide him and protect him. Amen.

***This is a song that we used to sing in church. I believe it is also in the Bible, but I do not know where? Can anyone help with this? Anyway, tell your son to sing this song, everytime he gets discouraged, or impatient. Have this song be his reminder of what the Bible says to do, and his promises if we do this!!!
