I feel so defeated

I feel so defeated today and I have spent the last two nights crying. Why do people have to be so cruel? Or am I just too soft hearted that people tend to take advantage of me? People often come to me when they are in need and I go all out to help them and lift them up. The moment they heal they turn around and pierce my heart and cause me so much pain. I need God's grace to be able to forgive and heal and not feel so angry at the way I have been used by people and this includes friends and close family. At the same time my marriage of 20 years is over and has been for about a year now and I am not praying for reconciliation because the abuse I withstood for 20 years was quite enough. All I need is for a chance to heal and put the past behind me and go on trusting in God.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please place your hand of healing on Leonida. Give them the peace of mind of knowing that they are doing you work. Help them to find answers through you and your word. For this we pray in Jesus name. AMEN

Father God, please be with Leonida as she goes thru this difficult time. Heal all her hurts she has suffered at the hands of others. Wrap your arms around her and give her comfort. Hear her cries to you. In Jesus name I pray.

Your kindness has not gone unnoticed by GOD and He will reward you for that kindness. Your kindness reflects Jesus Christ in you, my Friend. Keep on being kind to them all no matter how they treat you, Leonida. They tortured, mocked, and crucified the Son of GOD. The One who willingly gave His life on the cross to redeem mankind from their own sin. It's "baffling" and "mystifying" to us because that kind of love is "foreign" to us. We have zero concept of the kind of love GOD has for us because our love is very superficial and conditional. It's like the people you are sharing with us about. As soon as they get out of their troubles, they are ungrateful and cannot be found by you. Just as the people who laughed, danced, and mocked Jesus while He lay dying on the cross in front of them. The question in your mind is "Why?" The same question we ask about the way Jesus was treated while He walked on this planet. He was an innocent man; perfect in all of His ways before GOD, and yet you have to ask, "Why?" You are are a reflection of Jesus and the world hated Him so much, look what they did to Him. Count it all glory and be blessed, my Friend. They treat you the way they do because they hated and killed Jesus..the
Prince of "P E A C E". I love you deeply in Christ, Jesus, and my prayer for you is that you stay the kind and peaceful person you are in Christ and that you will continue to be that way as long as you live. Remember, GOD is a "Righteous" Judge and He will judge every idle thought, every idle word, and every idle deed against Himself and the Children of GOD.

Leonida, I pray that your eye's are opened to see whether the people are genuine friends, or are out for their own selfish needs. I pray that you begin the healing process, and eventually forgive all who have used you. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen!!!

***I too, have a good heart, but one can still have a good heart, and disallow someone to use them. In my case my Sister told me that "Users" could "Smell" me a mile away. In other words, I was giving off vibes to people that I was "too" willing to help them. They gravitated to me, because of my actions, and my words.

***You may want to take an inventory, and see if you see these traits in you!

***Since that time I have traded my "use me hat", in for a new one. Things are much better now, and I am mostly able to pick the people out who are "Users". It's really a good feeling when you begin to disallow this!

Dear Leonida,
Don't cry. Have faith in God. I know how much it hurts when some body take advantage of your softness, your innocence. God has blesed you a good heart, keep it as it is. Truth always wins.
I am praying for you. Dear God please help Leonida, please heal Leonida's wound. Amen.

Dear Leonida, I left a message for two people under the title of " A prayer for ibelieve 4ever, and Dipa's marriages". It is on page 2, and is by kweig. I really would like you to read it. The title above my message says: "This message is for Dipa", but I believe that we could all learn from it". Please go to my message, and read it, as I pray this will help in your situation too! Thank You, LORD Jesus, for Your invitiation to Leonida to come to You when she is weary and heavy laden, knowing that You will give her rest. Leonida does so now, and she takes Your yoke upon herself to learn of You. You, LORD, are meek and lowly in heart and in You Leonida will find rest unto her soul. Your yoke is easy and Your burden light. (Matt. 11:28-30)
Like King David, Leonida would set You always before her. With You, Merciful Father, at her right hand, she will not be moved. Therefore her heart is glad and her glory rejoices. Leonida's flesh rests in Your hope, Abba Father. (Psalms 16:8,9)
You will show Leonida the path of life. In Your presence there is fullness of joy. At Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. (Psalms 16:11) Hallelujah!

Dear LORD, Leonida will rest in You. Leonida will wait patiently for You. She will trust and delight in You, and will commit her way unto You. (Psalms 37:4-7)
You, Blessed Redeemer, give the weary soul rest and You bring refreshing to the heart that trusts in You. (Isaiah 28:12)
Thank You for being Leonida's safe place of refuge and rest. (Psalms 46:11)
Leonida's heart is still, at rest in You, Beautiful Savior, she knows that You are her GOD. (psalms 46:10) Hallelujah!
