Default Need Help-17 Yr Old Daughter Bipolar

My teenager daughter was recently diagnosed with Bipolar II. The combination of her condition (bipolar II) and the teenager years is destroying our family. She is totally out of control and violates all the rules of the household. I cannot do anything. She attempted suicide a few months ago. Now, she only wants to party and be with her friends. She says she hates us (her parents). She is supposed to take medication a "mood stabilizer" (Depakote) but refuses to take it because she says she is fine and that she does not need medication. Please pray for my daughter so that she takes her medication.

Righteous Father, You are the GOD of truth and light. May this daughter come to You seeking truth in the inward parts of her life, because we know that is what You want. (Psalms 51:6)
Merciful Father, please fill 'manodetrapo's daughter with Your truth; LORD, that she grow more aquainted with Your Word of Truth. Please lead this young lady in Your truth, and help her to walk in the freedom that truth always brings. We know Your truth LORD, and Your truth has set us free! Hallelujah!
Please, teach this young daughter Your way, LORD Jesus, that she might walk in Your truth. (Psalms 86:11)
May she choose the way of truth, and may she want to learn to speak the truth in love to all. This paves the way for her to grow up in You, LORD, in all things. (Eph. 4:15)
Blessed Redeemer, we pray that 'manodetrapo's daughter shall speak the truth; and wickedness will be an abomination to her lips. Hallelujah!
Thank You, Almighty GOD, for showing us that, it is by mercy and truth that iniquity is purged. (Proverbs 16:6,7)

As You reveal Your truth, LORD, to the parent(s) and their daughter, please give each of them Your grace to walk in Your truth so that they will always depart from evil.
LORD Jesus, You are the incarnate Word of GOD, and You are full of grace and truth. Please fill this daughter's life and her parent(s), life, LORD, that Your grace, mercy, and truth will flow naturally from each of their lives in all that they say and do.
He that does truth comes to light, that his/her deeds may manifest, that they are wrought in GOD. (John 3:21) May others see Your truth in each of their lives.

Master, You prayed that Your children would be sanctified through Your Word of truth. We ask that each member of this family receive Your truth and its sanctifying work in each one of their lives.
As the Father sent You into the world, so are You sending us. (John 17:17,18) What a privilege and joy it is to be able to serve You in the truth and power of the gospel.

Help all of us, LORD Jesus, to rightly divide the Word of truth so that we might never be ashamed in Your service and that we might be approved by You. (2 Timothy 2:15)
We accept Your purification of our souls in obeying the truth through the Holy Spirit. As a result, we have been set free to love the brethren with unfeigned love, fervently and with a pure heart. Hallelujah! (1Peter 1:22)
Thank You, LORD Jesus.........

Righteous Father,
We beseech You, LORD, to abound toward manodetrapo and daughter in all wisdom and prudence. We ask that You make Your will known unto them, according to Your good pleasure which You have purposed in Yourself. Help them to have the same attitude that exists in You, Christ Jesus, our LORD, to be able to say to the Father, "Your will be done."
May this daughter desire to know Your will, LORD, and to delight to do Your will. Hallelujah!

LORD Jesus, You came to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind. You have also promised to set at liberty those who are bruised. (Luke 4:18)
We ask that by the wooing of Your Holy Spirit, You draw this daughter to Yourself, and bless her with a knowledge of Your salvation, truth, and light, and bring to her awareness the things in her life that have made her a captive and has bruised her in many ways. May she know that it is not Your will for her to be captive to hurt, bitterness, resentment, rebellion, lack of love for self and/or others... May this daughter come to know that You deisre to be LORD in every area of her life. We ask You to come in power and deliver this daughter now as we pray! Hallelujah!
Righteous Father in heaven, may this daughter be buried with Christ in His death, so she can walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:1-4)
Hallelujah! Amen and Amen

Lord be with this family who is dealing with their daughter. Guide them on how to best handle the situation. Be with this daughter. I pray that this is worked out for all involved, and that they are able to look back on it, and be happy at how far you have brought them. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen!

***My Mother always told us kids that one of the 10 commmandments says: THOU SHALT NOT KILL. My Mother told us that that included killing ourselves. We were brought up to believe that if we killed ourselves that we could go to HELL. This was a big deterent to all of us kids, when we hit difficult times. At times, I remember thinking that I wished I would just die, but never came close to killing myself, as I did not want to go to Hell. My Sister said that she was one time going to jump out in front of a big truck, but stopped because of what we were taught.

***Please tell your Daughter this story about my Mom, and what she told us. I pray that something is said to her that makes an impact on her life. As I would not wish HELL on my worst enemy!!! My prayers are with your family!

I also have a daughter that has been diagnosed as bipolar. She is 27, so I know the pain you are going through. When my daughter is not on her medication, our family is in total survival mode. Please do what you can now that she is 17 because once she turns 18 you can't make her do anything and your will find yourself picking up the pieces often. While she is only 17 and still living in your home try to get her to long term therapy.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please be with this family as they deal with their daughter and her illness. Place your arms of comfort around them and give them the peace they so desperately need. Help them to know that you have a plan and everything happens for a reason. Give them faith in all that you do. Please also be with their daughter that she will see the importance of taking her medication. Please place you hand of healing on her heart. Please place a shield around her that only Godly people will get through. Please give her a buring desire to know more about you and to yearn for a Christian family. For this we pray in JEsus name. AMEN

I believe that medication alone is not the answer, but through Prayer, medication, diet and theropy this condition can be controlled and dealt with. Father, I pray that you will be with this family as they deal with and try to get a handle on this condition. Please Father impress on this young girl that ignoring the issue will not make it go away . That she needs to address this condition on several levels. We pray Father, that you will guide and counsel this family in the direction that they need to be taking to successfully control this illness and bring order back to thier lives. Bless them Father and comfort them as they search for thier answers.
