 Please pray for my daughter's continued health
Please pray and send healing energy and thoughts for my daughter, Lauren, 15 years old, in New York City. She suffered during my father Charles' almost year-long hospitalization (and I'm so grateful for all the prayers, healing, and support you gave our family). She got mono in the fall, got far behind in school work, and became so anxious that an outstanding child psychiatrist put her on an antidepressant and sleep medication. We also have had to pay for some friends to be homework "coaches" for her, to give her the support to focus on her current schoolwork and catching up. Both interventions have already caused a huge improvement for her in just a few weeks. She decided to leave her current school and will be going to a much smaller high school in September, but will also need to catch up with their curriculum, which is more demanding than her current program. She has a long history of getting sick when she becomes anxious in school, and does have subtle learning weaknesses that add to her stress. She's a wonderful person, and we would be so grateful for loving thoughts, prayers, and healing for her health, happiness, success in her future schools and career, and longevity (I do worry about the possibility of suicide in depressed teens and the rare incidence of suicide in some adolescents who are on antidepressants, and would be very grateful for prayers to protect her).
