I keep praying for God to reveal himself to me- but nothing happens. I want to believe there is a God but he's making this difficult for me and i believe i've come to my wits end.

Something did happen a 3 or so nights ago but i think it was my head playing tricks on me. My bedroom is the basement, and it gets real real dark- just the way i like it. Anyway, I awoke at about 3 in the morning, and to my surprise i'm paralized; completley. I wonder if i'm dreaming, so i move my eyes, and i look at the VCR and its on, and the clock is working, and i def. did not feel like i was dreaming. my TV and everything, is in the right place.
Now- i swear this happend. I saw Aliens.. there were a few of them. They were Gray, and had big black eyes, and at this point i'm scared. I try to scream but i can't open my mouth, I can't even move a muscle.
So then, i see more, but now they are coming from under my sheets, kinda like Casper the friendly ghost (short and narrow but with Gray, big eyed alien faces instead) so i try to scream or talk but i can't.
I then decide i want to say "Jesus" so i try, but i can't say it. i try as hard as i can, for what felt like a long while, but i still cant say it. i decide ill muster all my strength and say it but i still can't, so i try, and try and finally a very faint, but still kinda loud and "Jesus" came out of my mouth, and they went away. I def. was not dreaming (or a normal type of dreaming) because there was no waking up. after they went away, i just turned my TV on- i didn't have to wake up to do it.

Does this mean anything? I've probably seen more scary movies than i should, and i researched around the internet, and i think i've experienced what are called night terrors or something.

Could have been demons not aliens. I've heard about this happening to at least three people in my life. One a child the other two adults. Same situation, they couldn't move or speak and where terrified to death. They all saw or felt some sort of presence. All of them told about how they couldn't move and felt like "something" was holding them down. You should start to pray before you go to sleep. Even if it's just the Lord's prayer. I don't know what these types of things that happen means, but I would pray over the place where I sleep and start to develop a stronger relationship with God. He's always listening and patiently waiting to hear from us. Pray honey and I will pray for you as well. Blessings.

I do pray where i sleep, i'm just not getting answers. I'm not even asking for anything material in my prayers, just for God to reveal himself to me and to forgive me of my sins.

Yonathan, I am concerned about you. The things you have described are not normal. Is it possible that you go to a church, and speak to a pastor? I am not sure what is happening, but it sounds like this is over your head, and you could use some help. ***I pray that whatever is happening to you at your house, removes themselves from it. I pray that any demonic spirits leave. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Hi there. I'm a pastor. What is happening to you is normal. That may sound strange. But often when we hunger for God, and then the deeper things of God, our old enemy likes to try and distract us with displays of power. Basically he tries to scare you away from pressing on, making you think that you must be going the wrong way because "bad" things are happening, and how can that be if God is good? Well He is good, and you will find that as you press into Him, that even now, He is sustaining you and showing you that, although you were in utter weakness, even the whispered name of Jesus, from a sincere heart, even in the midst of fear, is enough to win! Our God is for you. Very similar things happened to my wife years ago as she was making choices to walk with Jesus in a real way. The enemy would attack her with various forms of sickness when she would get into the Bible or want to seek the lover of her soul (Jesus) more! But soon enough, these displays of darkness took their place and as she pressed into Jesus, even in all her ignorance, these displays of the enemy fell off her like cheap cobwebs.

What I see is that the God you seek is seeking you. Otherwise, you would have no desire to know Him. He put it there. It's all by grace! (Him doing it, not us)

And if He wants you, nothing will be able to come between you and His love!

Rom 8:38 for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,
Rom 8:39 nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of god, that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So what now?
I've been praying but God still hasn't revealed himself to me, i pray every day..same prayer, same result.
Maybe i'm doing something wrong?

Just for future reference when this occurs again, Jesus HEARS your thoughts as if they are being spoken out loud. The moment you DECIDED (or made a "decision") to say, "JESUS" you were safe, because the Lord said, "Whosoever calls upon the NAME of the Lord shall be saved." Also, ROMANS 10:8-10 tells us, "But what does it say? The Word is near you, in your mouth, and in your HEART; that is, the word of faith, which we preach: That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation." Firstly, if you already didn't KNOW that Jesus is Lord over all things, people, circumstances, and creation, you never would have made a DECISION to call His name out loud and in your heart or even THINK about Him in your mind, BUT....you did know all of that.
What it all means is this. Because you have been chosen by GOD since BEFORE your birth to be a mighty warrior in the Kingdom of Heaven, our enemy, the devil has been trying to undermine your power in Christ, Jesus by his silly little antics. But he didn't know how powerful a Warrior you are through Christ and when you just "thought" His name ( and that is your "faith" manifested), they already knew they had to leave because you belong to GOD and they were on Holy ground being in your room and all. THEY already know what kind of power you wield THROUGH Christ, our Deliverer, but they are hoping against all odds that YOU will NEVER know how much power you wield merely by "speaking" that name...the name above all names...the name to which every knee shall bow (willingly and unwillingly) and every tongue confess that HE IS LORD. He is KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS, the Great IAM, El Shaddai, ADONAI, Jehovah Shalom, and Jehovah SHAMMAH. He is Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent. He IS, WAS, and shall EVER BE, the Great Lion of Judah, our Righteous Judge. All of your enemies are the enemy of GOD and they shake in their boots when you have that knowledge. Be blessed, Young Warrior. For you inherit the Kingdom of GOD and a crown of glory when you continue to overcome the fiery darts of our enemy. Father GOD, In Jesus Mighty Name, let Your glory be with this young Warrior. Holy Spirit, grant him revelation and saving knowledge in who he is IN and Through You and Whom it is that he serves. AHA!!! You have been....praying....! And everyday, too! Maybe you are doing something RIGHT? That's what I know to be the truth. You are absolutely moving in the direction you should go. Faith continues to be relentless in prayer EVEN when one does not see answers...and I mean by..."answers"...how humans percieve what an answer is or should be. You are a prayer Warrior, you have been praying to the Lord, our GOD, and He is obviously living inside of your heart and mind where the enemy is PROHIBITED from entering. Nobody on the planet "prays" every day that does not possess strong faith. Your faith is not...I repeat...it is NOT based on human "emotion". They are totally seperate entities from one another. GOD is a Spirit and we pray in the spirit, a place inside of us the enemy is prohibited by GOD from entering into. It is where you meet GOD and He meets you to communicate and solidify a personal relationship with both of You. This gets a little complex, but you sound really brilliant so follow along. Jesus is the Word in the flesh. GOD is the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. When you say, JESUS, the entire Kindom of GOD, His power and authority and the blood of Jesus that was shed for mankind at Calvary 2000 years ago, comes against the already defeated enemy. If your faith is strong enough, Friend, you could wipe out the entire realm of darkness and hell itself merely by speaking the name of our GOD, "JESUS" the Great Lion of Judah. Obviously, none of us have faith that strong yet, because we are like you, Friend. We are LOOKING for a visible sign. But remember, we are talking about the realm of the invisible. We are all "spirit" beings in an earthly body that has been dying from the moment we exited our mother's womb. The "body", not our spirit. Our spirit will live on to eternity. GOD has been revealing Himself to you since before you were able to talk and before your parents named you.
You just aren't aware of it because you are searching for him in your flesh and not your spirit. Read the Word of GOD, pray, AND "fast". Google "fasting". If you do NOT find what you have been waiting for, which I doubt that you won't, come back again. I can feel in my bones that you have serious "untapped" potential for the Kingdom of GOD. We love you deeply in Christ, our King. Father, in Jesus Name, for Your glory and honour, show our Brother Who he serves in a way that he will have NO DOUBT Who it is that is speaking to him. Remember, Unregistered, all of CREATION "bows" to the name of Jesus. Matthew 21:21: "If you BELIEVE....ALL things are possible."

You took the prayers out of my mouth..Thats what i've always prayed for latley, to be a soldier for God and fulfill my purpose. I've also considered fasting, i've googled it a few days ago but there were so many kinds.

So I should Fast, read the bible and pray?
I'll get back in a week or 2 and see if anything has changed.
