Amen to what Christian737 says. When you help someone too much, and/or you keep them from standing on their own two feet; they call this enabling him. If he has a place to stay, and he knows that he can continue drugs, and without no consequences, then why should he change? Allowing him to stay with you, and him still doing drugs, how is that working for you? Has he made any changes, or progress? If this is not working, then you have to come up with a new strategy, in order to possibly get the changes that you desire. But ultimately, whether he chooses to change (or not) is up to him! Just kicking him out for a short period of time probably won't work. He needs to hit bottom, and then maybe (just maybe) he will quit drugs, and turn to God. By letting him stay with you, while doing drugs, is the same thing as saying; Do what you want to do, and i'll put up with it! He needs to see you being strong, and serious about your stance on drugs. He needs to know what he can expect from you, if he doesn't quit. You cannot waver, or he will always think he doesn't have to quit, because you'll give in. !!!

Dear Chrissy:

I pray that god will guide your husband on the right road again and will show him that life is worth living and that there are many people who care for him so much also. I hope that he will find god in his life, the one who heals all and loves all. May god bless you both and heal you both too. I pray for you Chrissy too that you are strong when he needs you.

Keep strong:
Roseanne
