Did you know all believers go through a slump a few times in this journey we are on. When that happens, sometimes you can't meditate or digest anything you are reading. Still, read the Word and speak it OUT LOUD despite the slump you're in. Even if weeks go by and you are still in a cloud, keep on reading OUT LOUD. GOD will indeed honour the fact that you are committed to a personal relationship with Him no matter how you feel. If one allows one's emotions to rule over them, nobody would go to church when the weather is bad, no one would give their tithes to the church, no one would get on their Knees before GOD, etc...You see what I'm saying? Stay committed and keep a godly attitude at all times. You will be shocked at the changes that will begin to crop up in your life. GOD bless you, Mike, and may the Lord be present at your wedding.
