Dear Friends, my husband is still young in the Faith. And recently thanks to the prayers of some of you his spiritual growth has taken a thrust and leap upwards. However, i am finding that he is being tested severely to my own estimation, considering he is still young in the faith. I have no doubt that the LORD is the one allowing that he be tested in this way, so i must trust in His doing.

I would like to ask if you could make a petition on my husband Andy's behalf, that he would remember to pray frequently, especially during the height of the difficulties. And that he be granted His supernatural grace and fill my husband with His Spirit, that he and i may endure and overcome all difficulties alloted for us.

Today he was tested again twice, and i was so amazed at how well he was taking it. He recognized it was the enemy. I pray for continued grace. As a result also i believe he experinced tremendous humbling since he said: "I feel so stupid [intellectually]".... i believe the Lord granted him to realize that he is nothing without God.

I pray that your husband will set aside time each day to meet with God alone.I pray that as he studies the word, that the Lord will speak to his heart and fill him with the Spirit of truth.

For a couple of days it is as though the trials are affecting me more.... i am afraid, in a manner of speaking, until when my husband will be able to stand these trials. We are having one bad streak after another.... Today we got another bad news .... i can tell you, if it were not for God's grace i would have a mental breakdown. And i do feel on the verge, but your prayers have helped a great deal.

My husband even in the face of today's bad news he seem to deal with it very well.... i can most certainly say that going to the prayer meeting at Times Square church is having a great impact on his ability to face difficulties. If it were not for this and your prayers, he would be very depressed by now (i know how he is....).

I think i am also spiritually weak, in the last few days i am finding it difficult staying awake praying.... If you could pray that He would grant me a greater measure of His Spirit and spiritual refreshing. Unfortunately i have been unable to go to prayer meetings because of my schedule. Please pray for me in this regard, and i would welcome suggestions on this point.

Heavenly Father, Please draw Andy closer to you and open his eyes so he may see that this path that he is starting to travel down will be rewarding all around. Please help my sister, Land-Of-Fire by giving her the strength to overcome the bad streaks that seem to keep appearing during this trial. Please show them both that these are just the work of the evil that lurks beneath, which tends to strike at our moments of weakness, but do show them how they are coming along. Amen & God Bless

Dear friend, I tried to read the word and pray in the evening after dinner but found that I would loose concentration because of household noise and general fatigue from the day. So I got in the habit of setting my alarm an hour or so early to read, with my first cups of coffee. The house is silent and I am much more alert. For me it is just much more condusive to actually comprehending what I am reading. I also find that if I start my day with some quiet time with the Lord that I am much more likely to hear his voice all through the day. I pray that the Lord with fill you with his spirit and help you to see your Life from His perspective.

Help Andy and LoF, LORD, to line their thoughts up with Yours. You know their thoughts and they are aware that some of the imaginations, or thoughts, of the human heart are evil. (Gen. 6:5) so we humbly ask You to help Andy and LoF to control their thought life.

Remove all vanity from their thinking, LORD, and replace it with the wonderful comfort that comes from Your Holy Spirit. (John 14:26)

Heavenly Father, because Andy and LoF know You care for them they also know that they can cast all their cares upon You. Forgive them for any worrying; they know they don't have to bear their burdens alone. Thank You for inviting them to come unto You and for Your wonderful promise of rest. They receive Your rest as they lay their burdens of worry down. (1 Peter 5:7 - Matt. 11:28)

Dearest beloved friends,
I cannot even tell you how as i started my day working i knew that someone had prayed for me because i was feeling so well physically and mentally (I think i may have the stomach flue which is causing weakness and malady. But today i felt almost perfectly fine). And when i arrived home so many of you prayed for me!!

I thank you! And your prayers have sustained me. He has heard your prayers and has granted me grace because of your intercessions. I PRAISE HIM, AND I THANK YOU.

Confession:
My husband also was doing very well.... except that he fell into temptation and engaged in an argument with someone... and then i think i also fell into the same trap and contended with that same person - in defense of my husband... i KNEW what was happening, but i was just too self-righteous to let someone slander my husband.

I need to be so careful with such things.... since now who knows what kind of foothold i have given Satan.... and certainly does not aid godly living and then this affects my walk in very subtle ways.

And i think all this happened because i was just not feeling well at all and did not interceed/pray:

"And when He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow, and said to them, 'Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.'" (Luke 22:45-46)

PRAYER PRAYER PRAYER PRAYER.... i cannot stress enough how important this seems to be.....

May i and my husband become ever more cautious in regards to our spiritual walk.
