I have been a christian man for many years but have had a problem with anger, I have recently got on Meds for this and they seem to be working but after 19 years of marriage my wife says she has had enough.
I ask for prayer for the Lord to work in my marriage and my wifes heart to find a way to try and give this another try, we have 3 children 17, 15, and 8.
but she seems to have her mind made up that no matter what happens, she is going through with the divorce, and if we get back together it will be after it is final. We are still living together at the present time but that seems to be getting more difficult everyday, mainly because I keep getting in the way of Gods work, How can I still love my wife but let her go at the same time and not fight for my marriage, I feel that God wants me to be the man, husband, and father that he has commanded me to be, but it is hard to keep my hope and faith when I hear and see her going through with the divorce and not having second thoughts. We are both christians so that make it that much harder for me to understand how she can turn her back on us and what seems to me on God.

What an unfortunate situation you are undergoing. Please have trust in our heavenly father, he shall deliver. I'm proud of you for taking control of your anger issues, which must of been hard itself. You are on your way to a "better you" with God by your side. Keep praying, miracles do happen. My advise to you is not to pressure your wife to change her mind, leave it in Gods hands. Release all your worries and put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep showing your wife that you do indeed love her and are maintaining your anger under control. Maybe try asking her on a "date", plan something romantic! Pray to God and ask for forgiveness of all your sins prove to him that you want to follow in his footprints. He will hear you. Lord Jesus, grant that I and my spouse may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's strengths. Help us to forgive one another's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of self.

May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year. Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection. Amen.

I feel your pain, I am going threw a same situation, as my husband has left me, I have asked for prayers on this, because prayers do work. I will be praying for you on your situation.
Patience is the big thing here and I know it is hard, because that is my problem to we want it to happen now, and that is not what God has in plans for us, it is on his time not ours.
Lord Jesus please go into his wifes heart and bring the love back to her to be a family again. Watch over the family and allow her to feel the love again, watch over the kids as they are seeing what there parents are going through, lift them all up Lord Jesus with the love that they have to offer each and every one. AMEN
