Default I Want My Daughter Back

My daughter stopped talking to me on July 3rd.I do not know why, While she was in Iraq. She is now back and only 4 hours from me visiting her brother and mother. SHe wants nothing to do with me. She will not say why. Before going to Iraq over a year ago she wanted to see me. She wrote emails constantly until July 3rd. She will not respond to me. I was tod by her mother and brother she wants no more to do with me. I feel the Lord has turned his back on me. I lost my Bible in December, it was stolen out of my car.I had read it each day it was a Spirit Filled Bible. I had a book mark made by my daughter It is gone forever.I also had one by my son made when he was 5 it is gone. I was passed for promotion at work.I feel like the Lord has abandoned me. I prayed everyday to have my daughter back. Everyday I have prayed.

Dear Friend, i have prayed on your behalf.
Do purchase a bible ASAP. And if i were you, i would search in the depth of my soul to see if there should be an unknown sin that is hindering spritual growth, and expose it, and repent from it, and ask the Lord for forgiveness.

Righteous Father, turn this daughter's heart to her father. May this daughter experience Your Spirit of Truth, LORD, break forth through illusions of judgement and unforgiveness in this daughter against her father. Please awaken her from her dream to claim for herself Your resurrection within her, Blessed Savior, every cell of her being radiant with her love for You, Precious Savior. May her earthly self align with Your Great Love, Mercy, and Forgiveness, may her human heart stop beating so wildly. May she remember, dear GOD, that she belongs not only in her heavenly Father's arms but she belongs in her Daddy's arms too. For there You will bring healing to her and her Dad, and there You shall make what is broken whole. Answer this daughter with Your Spirit LORD! Bring peace to this Dad, Merciful Father, comfort him and reassure him that You will never leave him, nor forsake him. Trust in the LORD, [Daddy] with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct your paths. Let the power of gratitude heal you, in Christ Jesus. Amen and Amen

Dear filmfisher,
Remember the loving kindness of the Lord bestowed on you, and you will always lead a life of thanksgiving. Faith will grow in your heart as well as the trust in God's love and work. Your past experiences with God would encourage you in the life of faith.
Remember people's love and their good past with you. Should you doubt their sincerity or find out they have done something wrong to you, their old love will make intercession for them and your anger will fade away
Remember God's promises, and you will be comforted in all your troubles. But, if you forget them, say with David in psalms, "Remember Your word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction. For Your word has given me life." (Psalms. 119:49-50).
Remember the Blood of Jesus which was shed for your sake and you will definitely know the value of your life; it becomes dear in your eyes, so you will not waste it with prodigal living, "for you were bought at a price." (1 Cor. 6:20).

GOD Bless you

It sounds to me that your daughter is the one who has turned their backs to you, not the LORD. God will always be with you. So you don't need to fell that God has turned His back on you. You Pray that God will Bless the one who stole your Bible. You Buy yourself a new Bible. I will be Praying for you and your daughter to be reconciled. GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED YOU!! When things go array in our lives we tend to think God is not there to pick us up. God allows things to happen to test our Faith. I Pray your Faith has been strengthen through this. God Bless you for asking for Prayer. ODIE

I can relate to your situation but I was the one who did the "not speaking to my dad" and regret every moment I missed with him. Luckily we have been reunited and I can't thank god enough for giving me the guidance of communication. I now have an extremely close relationship with my dad and treasure every second. It was a shame at what brought us apart, but I cannot dwell over what has been lost, but look forward to what we have. I will pray for your daughter to recognize what she is missing out on. There is nothing like having a daddy, and she will realize it! You should in deed, go out and purchase yourself a new bible and start getting back on track. Keep up your praying, continue with your faith, have hope and believe in our heavenly father. He is right by your side. We are all here for you. Stay strong. God Bless

O Holy Family of Nazareth, community of love of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, model and ideal of every Christian family, to you we entrust our families. Open the heart of every family to the faith, to welcoming the Word of God, to Christian witness, so that it becomes a source of new and holy vocations. Touch the hearts of parents, so that with prompt charity, wise care, and loving devotion they be for their sons and daughters sure guides towards spiritual and eternal values. Stir up the hearts of young people a right conscience and a free will, so that growing in "wisdom, age and grace," they might welcome generously the gift of a Divine vocation. Holy Family of Nazareth, grant that all of us, contemplating and imitating the assiduous prayer, generous obedience, dignified poverty and virginal purity lived out in your midst, might set about fulfilling the will of God and accompanying with far-sighted sensitivity those among us who are called to follow more closely the Lord Jesus, who "has given Himself for us" (cf. Gal 2:20).
Amen!
