Rep Power: 1 | | Dear Jake, i have prayed that God would control the presidential race and that His will would be ultimately accomplished, even beyond our own understanding.
May the Jesus speak to you and cause to to draw near to Himself.

I am not in any position to judge Mr. Giuliani. Because:
Jesus said: "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment" (John 7:24).
We are commanded to exercise righteous judgment. We are forbidden to judge when we are not qualified to do so.
And I am not qualified to do so....
We may not judge according to appearance (John 7:24). This means that we may not judge on the basis of insufficient, superficial information. Outward appearance is often deceptive. "Some men's sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later. Likewise, the good works of some are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden" (1 Timothy 5:24,25). Righteous judgment must be based on conclusive evidence. We may not judge on the basis of appearance, personal opinions or unsubstantiated suspicions.
Jesus said: "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the same measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck out of your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye" (Matthew 7:1-5).
If we condemn someone for something we do ourselves, we bring condemnation upon ourselves. The Word of GOD says: "Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?" (Romans 2:1-3). "Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you" (Luke 6:36-38).
I would be a hypocrite if I were to judge another human being for their "sins"? Because I am just a sinner saved by grace. I respect the mercy my Righteous Father in heaven has shown toward me, a sinner, so I would not be qualified to judge someone else.
The only prayer that I'm comfortable praying at this moment is:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power and the Glory forever. Amen and Amen

Rep Power: 1 | | Dear Jake:
I will pray for Rudi, just as I will pray for candidate Obama and all of the other candidates, that they may turn to G-d and live their lives in a G-dly manner. I will not, however, pray for any of them to take a political action or for their fortunes to increase politically.
AS someone who has politicians in his family, has worked in many political campaigns, and who personally knows politicians at the local, state, and national levels, I can unequivocally say to you that politics and religion are NOT compatible
Think about it: In order to win in politics you must convince the electorate that you are better than the other candidate. Now let's say that the other candidate is a decent person with ideas similar to you. No one would vote for you if you said you agreed with everything your opponent said so you have to set yourself in opposition to your opponent. You must tear your opponent down by sowing the seeds of discontent within the electorate.
I've known politicians who've cast aside lifelong personal friendships in an instant when forced between losing their power ot keeping the friendship. Look at the priests, pastors, and rabbis who've endorsed politicians who's views are contrary to G-ds Word. Why do they do it? For access, money and power. As I type this I'm watching the Democrat debate on CNN. The camera panned to a group of clergy from all denominations. Where do you think G-d would rather these clergy be, at a debate, or out in the streets doing His work?
Make no mistake about it, politics are the Devil's playground and it's getting worse. You cannot become involved in politics as a candidate or supporter without losing your soul.
I'll give you an example: the sub-prime mortgage bailout is being touted as a bailout of homeowners by Washington- it is really a bailout of the banks that made a fortune giving loans on terms that they knew the borrowers could not meet. The bailout is of a sum that could payoff all the mortgages, but this wouldn't help the banks. The homeowners will still lose their homes, but the banks will re-coop the billions they squandered. Now the politicians know this but say nothing.
Candidate Obama is a very charismatic speaker (as are the rest of the candidates). But what you're seeing is not the candidate; what your seeing is an empty vessel that has been filled with "ideas" and "themes" that have been thoroughly researched and polled. These "ideas" and "themes will not be consistent- after the primary is over the Democratic candidates will move right and the republicans will move left.
These are a group of people, you see, that have no personal convictions. They will say and do anything in order to get elected (power). For those of us who follow geopolitics it is very easy to see that we are headed toward a one world government. The King of Lies is making a power grab on a grand scale. He will not win but there will be much suffering before everything gets played out.
I will not vote in this presidential election or any other; nor will I campaign or give financial support for any candidate.
This Nation and the World has a leader- G-d!!!!!!!! In my opinion 10 G-dly people can do more for the poor and the state of the union than 10,000 politicians. We don't need politicians to "bring back morality" to our country- that's OUR job!!!!! Pastors, Priests, Rabbis and congregations get out of politics and get back to doing G-d's work!
G-d I pray you will cause all G-dly people to turn away from seeking worldly leaders
Cause them to spend their time and energy doing Your work. Cause them not to look to political leaders to help the poor and comfort the afflicted- cause them to do these deed themselves. Amen | |
