My friend's 5 month old son who was very ill with RSV and who continues to suffer with low white blood cell and neutrophil cell counts has contracted two severe ear infections. Surely the ear infections were caused by the fact that he can't fight infection well at this point. The positive news is that one of his blood counts was slightly higher than before. We must be thankful for the small steps!!
