This is the first time I have used this forum but I searched for something like this because I feel, well, lost and desperate. I am well educated but I have made some poor decisions in the past ten years which have led me down dark paths. A divorce two years ago really hurt me and I have asked God to please help me understand the point of all that pain and destruction. I have also been unemployed for eight months depsite extremely diligent efforts to find a good job. I ask God to help me understand my purpose on earth, and I ask for your prayers in finding answers. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this person. Thank you for creating him just as he is. I pray that You would touch his heart and give him peace. Please help him to see that You have a plan for him. A great plan. Put a desire in his heart to read Your Word, so he can know You better. Please open up doors of opportunity for him that no man can close. Surround him with Godly men and women to give him support and guidance. Most of all, help him to always seek Your will. In Jesus Name. Amen.

I will pray that you find your way from the dark paths you are facing. Keep your faith in Christ and let him lead you. Trust Him to help you find a job and lift you from despair. Take care of yourself and know that people care about you.

Edward, I'm sorry to hear about the storm you are in right now, but by you turning to god for guidance is turning to the right path. You have come to terms that you have made poor decisions in the past, which hopefully you have learned from, now you can only better yourself. Just pray to god for help. He is with you all the time. Now its the time to just start believing that. You must have faith, hope and trust and our heavenly father will show you the direction to go in. It is very easy to allow the evil to take over but you must stay strong and have the power to over come that, just ask god and he will show you. I am praying for you. God Bless
