Hello everyone,
After years of being unable to work due to mental health diagnoses and trouble with medications, I'm now certified as a peer specialist. This means that I'm trained to offer counseling to others who are in recovery from mental health and/or substance abuse problems. I just interviewed with an agency on the 16th for part-time work. Please pray that I get hired in this capacity. I'm somone who has worked hard on my own recovery and I'm ready for this opportunity.

If it is God's Perfect Will He will give you the desires of your heart as it is in line with His Word. Your Experiences could be a great witness to how God can work in their lives. We will pray for you to continue on you're way up. You have been given another chance and are blessed to want to heal others with what's you've learned from the darkness. May the Lord almighty bring you to work and work to you. Believe, in all that is pure, that you will show up the new you, attentive, a good listener, and ready to work. Don't take the interviews as if it's all about you as it's about the position. Hopefully you'll get this position. If not - keep marching. Go in to the next interview relaxed.
