Oftentimes we forget our blessings, especially when we suffer adversity. So I have to keep reminding myself that just the fact that I'm Not a criminal is a blessing. You see, one of my best friends is in prison, so I consider myself very fortunate that I'm Not prone to criminal behavior. Belief in God and the Bible is necessary in order to show there are morals which are absolute, otherwise men will make up their own laws to match their desires. From there,it segues to my next blessing, i.e., that I can master my appetites and desires. So much so that I DIScontinued the internet at home because of temptations found on-line. Consequently,I limit my on-line activities to computer at library.

Yes. The internet is something that contains many temptations, and I understand what you are saying completely. My brother is in prison right now, because of mistakes and choices he has made throughout his life. It began at a young age, but he really is a good person on the inside, I know this because he is my brother and he admits to his mistakes, but he has an addiction problem, drugs and alcohol. I am thankful every day that I am not in prison, and for what I have in my life right now. The possibilities are endless and I am grateful for being blessed as much as I have been in my life. God has shown me the right way to go and the right things to do and I have learned from all the mistakes I have made. We all should be thankful for what we have, even if our lives are in rough times, and we loose hope, there are many things to be thankful for. God Bless you and thank you for your words-
