Giving God Praises in your Prayers

PRAYER OF PRAISING GOD

When we Praise God we are acknowledging the Glories of God’s Excellent Person. So, When we start Praying to God we should start with Praising God so we will know that He is hearing our Prayer. By Praising God we are putting our own mind in tune with the Mind of Christ. Negative thoughts will be turn into Positive thoughts. Thus changing our complete frame of mind so we can Pray more effective.

We Praise God because God is Worthy of Our Praises. Psalm 18:3
It’s God’s Will that we Praise Him. Isaiah 43:21
Our Praises to God should be Public and Continuous. Psalm 34:1: 22:22-25
We Praise God for his HOLINESS. 2 Chronicles 20:21; Psalm 29:2
We Praise God for His GRACE. Eph 1:6,7
We Praise God for His GOODNESS. Psalm 135:3; 100:5
We Praise God for His LOVINGKINDNESS. Psalm 138:2; 143:8
All things in Nature Praises God. (Sun, Moon, Stars, and Angels) Psalm 148

2. David’s Psalm of Praise to God. Psalm 145

3. A Psalm of Praise Psalm 100; 150

5.God’s Lovingkindness deserves our Praises. Psalm 136

GOD Bless you ODIE, dear sister, This is another confirmation from the LORD, I spent the moring in Psalms 148... and in prayer concerning a situation. It all fits together for me now.. Praise the LORD! Hallelujah!

All of my life, as far back as I could remember, even as a Roman Catholic back in the day, I could NEVER drink in enough about how nature BOWS at the mere "sound" of HIS name. e.g., "Mountains BOW down, and the SEAS rage at the SOUND of HIS Voice"...."Who are YOU, O Great Mountain???"...."If you do not open your mouth to praise ME, the very rocks under your feet shall rise up and praise ME!" Does NATURE know more about GOD than we do? Does nature have greater fear and reverence of HIM than men do? What does nature know about GOD that we don't? I ask because nature has been here even when Jesus Christ in the "flesh" walked the earth. All things surrounding the "Mystery" of GOD deeply intrigue me.

Absolutely agree .... as we begin prayer we need to realize and acknowledge the greatness of our God, by giving glory to Him, and bringing to memory the great things that He has done in our lives and via the testimonies of the scriptures.

We need to realize our God works wonders and at the same time He is "terrifying"... for He is a Holy.

There were three times in my life that the devil almost took my life...the first time I was only 2 years old and on life support for months. Two other attempts by the enemy to take me out came, but the Spirit of Lord lifted up a standard against the enemy; the death angel. I am one of those believers that is emotional when I talk with GOD because I know that I know that I know that GOD has a plan for my life, and being dead is not one of them. GOD knows the enemy has been trying, but he has failed over and over again. There comes a time (many times for me) in your life when you KNOW that what happened to you was SUPERNATURAL and that GOD's signature was ALL OVER IT. In your mind's eye you can see GOD smiling at you saying, " I will NEVER leave you or FORSAKE you....NEVER! Trust ME!" I can see Him saying those things to me. That's how I know HE REIGNS!
