Rep Power: 1 | | Righteousness: Loving the unlovable Dear friends, i wanted to share an experience i had a while back, i have posted it at my blog:
At the Salvation Army, I was talking to a man who was on the verge of homelessness. My flesh immediately began judging and mistrusting him, but i investigated further because i knew i could not trust this fear of mine, which was unjustified and without evidence. Thus i found out that for a little trial this man began distrusting the Lord and started going away from the Lord. The whole time while this trial happened, he did not ask the Lord for help. He said, "i assumed He knew, and was awaiting His help".... http://www.praying.org/blogs/land-of...unlovable.html

Land-of-Fire: God Bless you for your post and Blog. We as humans are weak in our spirits when it come to the flesh. We must look at the unlovable the way God sees them. First impressions are our poor Judgments art't they? As I read your post I thought of James 2 1-13.
WE ARE NOT TO HAVE RESPECT OF PERSONS.
God Bless you for your Post. ODIE

I loved myself more. Through you, the Holy Spirit has sent us messages and warnings: "Love your neighbour as yourself!" It's exactly like GOD choosing/calling us to follow Him and to take up our cross. Did I choose to follow Christ, or did He call me first? I think it's a bit of "both". I am confident that what we believe is coming from our hearts to our Friends and Intercessors are in actuality, the words of Jesus coming through human hosts to encourage, strengthen, edify, rebuke, correct, guide, and teach us to be more Christlike to mankind, thus discovering the Peace that had been waiting for us all along. Thank you, Land-Of-Fire. Your contributions are so needed through this journey in my life. Thank you. | |
