Though I am not Catholic, I love reading about the thoughts from Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa. Your prayer reminded me of a prayer I read from Mother Teresa: Dear Lord, the Great Healer, I kneel before You, since every perfect gift must come from You. I pray in Jesus name, that You give skill to my hands, clear vision to my mind, and kindness and meekness to my heart. Grant me singleness of purpose, strength to lift up part of the burden of my suffering fellow men, and a true realization of the privilege that is mine. Take from my heart all worldliness, that with the simple faith of a child, I may rely wholly on You. Mother Teresa Father, in Jesus name, continue to refine me like silver and sift me like wheat that I may be worthy to be called the salt and light of this world in Christ, Jesus. Let the fruit that I bear for Your glory and Your kingdom be a sign to the world of who I am and in Whom it is I serve. I love You, deeply, Father. Please help me to forgive and love my fellow man as You forgave and You love me unconditionally. Above all, never let me lose compassion and love for those who are lost and seeking after You. Thank You. I give You all praise and glory for Who You are, for every good and perfect thing comes from You. | Father I join in in agreement in this prayer for myself also. I love you very deeply father and I am happy that everything I do revolves around you and your will for me. Please heal me father and strengthen me. Bless me father to always do and say the right things with the Holy Spirit guiding me.
In Jesus name I pray you refine me like silver
AMEN

15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.
17 And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
