Here is something interesting, and which I believe is very true myself, after I read the whole article. There is a book out by an author with the name of Brooks, which in his book called, " Who Really Cares", mentions how every time we give, it helps be less stressed out, feel better, and believes that when you give, it comes back to you.
I have not read this book yet, but I am tempted to go out and pick one up after reading this article that I found,

Giving, especially around this time of year, and even everyday is something that I love doing, when I can. It does make me feel better about myself, and just knowing you made someone else happy and gave them something that they were not able to receive is one of the best feelings in the world to me.
