Rep Power: 2 | | Glad to Have You Here! You're welcome, I have been here for a while now, and there are many good people here. You will meet new friends, and have people to talk to, get advice, help, or even "blog" stories, or you can also upload little videos. I have quite a few video's that I have uploaded. If you get a chance, take a look. There is much here at praying.org, and it is a true blessing, to be involved here. I feel like it is forming into a "little prayer family". We support, and are just ther for eachother. I am glad you joined, and I hope to hear more from you soon.
Your new friend,
-Jess |

| | | I am new...but not new to prayer Hello,
I am new to this site. I consider myself to be a prayer warrior. I think that is MY opinion though....maybe not God's. I was wondering if you could pray for my foster son. He is 18 and about to be on his own but needs significant healing in the areas of relationships, trust and communication. I have been praying....no not just praying but in deep prayer for him for 2 years. I think he is closer to accepting the Lord but I am thinking if there were lots more people praying for him that pretty soon, God will have to move in on him. I know he sometimes wants Christ in his life but he is so afraid of EVERYTHING and so that relationship is very scary to him because to him it means him giving up his control. Thanks so much. He is such a great young man but sure is traumatized by his past and isn't growing much right now! |

You keep Praying that The Holy Spirit will work in his life and he will give his heart to the Lord. You can't push him. You might scare him away. Young people sometimes think they can't live up to Gods Way of Life. I believe the seed is planted in his heart. Just Pray that it will grow. God bless you for asking for prayer. ODIE |

He is such a great young man but sure is traumatized by his past and isn't growing much right now! | Hello, New To This Site, Juuuuuust kidding! Hello, Friend! Sounds like you're in the same boat as a lot of other parents. Remember when your were your sons age. I remember when I was that age. Boy! Being female, it wasn't a fun time. I had ultra-strict parents. I was 16yo and Roman Catholic all 16 years, until one day, a bourn again believer came to our house. Before we all knew it, the entire family became indoctrinated into the Kingdom of GOD and the plan of salvation. The one thing I covet more than life on this planet, is Eternal Life. I sort of knew it when I was a teen, but was very antisocial. I like knowing that your son is so normal. Most teens are secretly fearful of relationships gone bad and most especially, facing the WORLD on their own without their parents around to guide and teach them. Father, in Jesus mighty name, We ask that You give attention to this very tender hearted young man. Even if he may never admit it, Lord, we have been where he is and know how fragile he feels inside. Please let Your Holy Spirit minister to his heart and put an insatiable desire in his heart to be a radical GOD Chaser. Let him find his most comfortable place in You, Father. Grant him Your wisdom, Your Peace, Your Joy, Your mercy and grace. Holy SPirit, guide him as you did with Mary, Elizabeth, Jesus, John the Baptist, Zechariah, etc., ect., etc. He needs You now more than ever before in his young life. Send Your warring angels to keep him safe from harm. Insulate his mind and heart and free it from the hold of the enemy. Lead him into the path of righteousness and let him thirst after eternal life. These things we ask for Your glory and honour and believing that through You and only You, ALL things are possible if we believe. Amen and Amen! |
