Father, I come before You with a troubled mind and a heavy heart. Lord I have been letting fear get the better of me, I have been trying to hide these fears through pain and illness. Father I'm so sorry, forgive my unfounded fear. Thank You Lord.

Did you have childhood fears? Something or some things you were scared of when you were young? I'm guessing it all went away. Well this too shall pass. We all have monsters in our closets, yet they seem to get smaller with time. Time has a neat way of erasing what we're afraid of, what were mad at, what troubles us. God invented time and it's a wonderful tool when you realize it's by your side and will always keep going, forever. I just wanted to jot you a little note and say I understand exactly what you're speaking of. You're not alone in the dark. There's a light here that overshadows any darkness. At times I find myself in the darkness you speak of, apparently alone until I bump in to others like you, so we are both not alone. :-) I've been visiting praying.org a few times a week now because it really helps to read that so many others are going through the same things I am. None of us are alone as pain, joy, sadness and laughter are all package God has given us to unwrap. A gift, if you may. Don't be too hard on yourself. Try something you haven't done in a while. Light a candle, pick up a Bible and open it to any page. Read a little and take your mind off yourself. It might make you feel better. I will keep you in my prayers.

I Pray that you will overcome your fears and worries. Satan is the father of worry and fear that torments us. I learned a long time ago that you don't look on your situation or circumstances to closely because they can scare you. Look to the Lord. As long as Peter kept his eyes on Jesus he could walk on the water. The minute he took his eyes off Jesus he began to sink and fear came over him. So keep your eyes on the Lord.
