-In Need Of Prayer-Animals-Shelter's-

I visited this animal shelter recently, and it really touched a place inside my heart, to see so many abonded, stray, homeless, and loving creatures of God, in need of a good home. It really opened my eyes as I wittnessed the dispair and cries for help, coming from each animal. They are all locked up in a cages; confused, depressed, lost, and scared. It made me want to cry, knowing that many of these animals will be put to sleep if they don't end up finding a new home in time. Time is precious....I ask you all to pur yourself in their "paws" for a moment, and think how you would feel, if you were one of them. It is very sad to think about, but as God's children, we can make a difference. Dogs and other animals, we call our "Pets", bring us something so special, and take a peice of our heart, as they become a friend, as well as part of a family; I know, as I grew up with a dog when I was young, until he passed away a few years ago. I have always had a spot in my heart for animals, especially dogs, and I believe God has created them for us. They give us something we are missing; something very special, and for the moment you are with them; all worries are taken away and replaced with happiness and joy. I am in search of a new companion, and it is not easy to go to these shelter's, and not want to save each and every one of them. I look into the eye's of these animals, and I feel their helplessness. Imagine being locked up inside a cage, not knowing where you are, what has happened, and being so scared for what the future holds. Some get a good home, and some don't make it there. I left the animal shelter with this saddness inside my heart, but with the encouragement of knowing that I must do all I can, to spread the word about this, in hope of saving a few lives. If you are lonely and don't have too many friends, I suggest visiting your local shelter, and taking a minute to experience the love you could give and gain, from adopting an animal in need. My dog passed away a few years ago, and it's hard sometime's to not have him around, but I remember the good times, and that he is in Heaven now...looking down at his family. These animals are in need of our prayers, so I ask you to please take a moment and take a look at this video, that is dedicated to the Homeless Animals and Shelter's. http://www.praying.org/view_video.ph...8461063f4ac58a. God Bless you. Jess

| | Thank you, and I am sorry to hear about your dog passing away...it's a difficult time to face, but we can still help other animals and have that unconditional love in our hearts again. I love the feeling I get from caring for a precious animal..they bring so much love and affection, that they just brighten your day, no matter what is going on. They are a true blessing. Thanks again and I hope to hear more from you soon. If you live anywhere in Brevard, and are interested in adopting, visit www.Brevardanimalservices.com |
