Friend, unfortunately we learn valuable life lessons when our heart places other people before GOD. You must love GOD more than Shane and glorify and honour GOD above Shane. We do not desire any loved ones in any of our lives to walk away from us, but as GOD has gifted us with a free will, He has also done the same for them. They ARE free to walk away from us if it is their choice. We cannot will them back into our lives. The Lord will not impinge on Shane's "free" will to honour yours, even if you never love another man to the day you die. If Shane CHOOSES not to return, GOD will not force him to go back because He would be interfering with his freedom of choice. So if Shane returns, it will have been HIS choice, not GOD making him go back to you. This is an extremely difficult and fragile topic to go into because we have been brought up in a free world and our own Constitution and Declaration of Independence which were written by MEN, tells us that we have the RIGHT to pursue happiness.
This is not biblical, though. The Word of GOD tells us that our joy comes from GOD and GOD alone. There is no other source ABOVE Him that will give you genuine PEACE in your life. Shane doesn't appear to be able to make up his mind between you and his ex-wife, meaning: Shane himself is not finding PEACE from GOD. If Shane cannot find his own PEACE, Shane cannot bring you PEACE either. Love Shane, but love GOD more. It is our privilege to pray with you concerning this sensitive issue, but please open up your bible and start learning and knowing GOD's purpose for YOUR life. We all have been bourn into this world for a reason and you need to begin to learn more about who you are IN and THROUGH Jesus Christ and Who Jesus Christ is to you. Who is He to you? What importance does He have in the life of you and your daughter? Remember that people do what they do because they all choose to do it; GOD doesn't go into people's head and say things like, "Shane, I want you to leave your wife and daughter and start living with your ex-wife." We know that those are thoughts placed in his mind by satan, himself, because the bible tells us that satan has come to steal, kill, and destroy all that GOD has created and mankind was created in GOD's image. His main goal is to take every soul he can to hell with him and to get our thoughts on our immediate circumstances around us. When we do that, we never think about going to church, praying, or worshipping GOD. So having said all of this, Friend, I believe your energy should focus squarely on seeking GOD and finding a place of worship for you and your daughter. This does not mean we won't continue to pray on your behalf. Heavenly Father, remember when Hannah glorified You when she declared, "The Lord has filled my heart with joy; I feel very strong in the Lord! I can laugh at my enemies; I am glad because You have helped me. There is no one holy like the Lord. There is no GOD but You; there is no rock like our GOD!" In Jesus name, Father, we ask that you fill ibelieve4ever with the same revelation that Hannah had about You. Let her heart be filled with joy and her strength increased in YOU and YOU alone. Let her laugh at her enemies and be glad in You forever. Holy Spirit, grant her saving knowledge in Jesus Christ that there is no one like Him or beside HIM and that He is her #1 Source in all things. Father, we ask that You send a labourer to Shane to lead and guide him to the path of righteousness leading to Eternal Life. Holy Spirit, convict his heart to do what he KNOWS to be the right and honourable thing to do. Surround both Shane and his family with Your PEACE and let it flow like a river through them. We ask these things of You Father, because David, himself said," You have made known to me the path of of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand."
