I like this information on the righteous and self-righteous.
The Word of GOD tells us that.."our righteousness is as
filthy rags." Though I am not Catholic, my 2 favourite people on Earth are
(or "were") Mother Theresa and Pope John Paul II because of their immense love for GOD's children. Even knowing this, the bible still tells us that even their righteousness is as filthy rags. I read this article and I think of the wheat and the tares...you can't tell what's what until the wheat is sifted and separated from the tares. I also think about...What do men covet? The praises of men or the praises of GOD? These verses are very profound because we ourselves don't even recognize the sin that resides within us. We are the GOD's of our realm and we don't even know it and IF we do, we would NEVER admit.
