rrod, God forgave you as soon as you asked him to. He is a loving, and forgiving God. I pray that God give you a new beginning in life, and this life will be blessed with happiness. p.s. I used to talk about my ex to my new husband. This bothered him. So I began to stop myself in mid-sentence etc. when I did this. This was my personal cue to stop myself, and my cue to my husband that I was making an effort to stop doing what he did not like. Pretty soon I was not saying these things at all. I had broken my bad habit. You might try this, maybe it will work for you?
