This is the first time I have used this forum but I searched for something like this because I feel, well, lost and desperate. I am well educated but I have made some poor decisions in the past ten years which have led me down dark paths. A divorce two years ago really hurt me and I have asked God to please help me understand the point of all that pain and destruction. I have also been unemployed for eight months depsite extremely diligent efforts to find a good job. I ask God to help me understand my purpose on earth, and I ask for your prayers in finding answers.
