My friends 5 month old infant son Ethan has been fighting a battle of being without illness for some time now. He contracted RSV which attacked his lungs and seemed to be improving when the doctors realized his immune system was not working correctly. He seems a little stronger now, but the specialists still can't figure out why is isn't making enough white blood cells, or neutrophils, both needed to fight infection.

But I wanted to share with you the news that we still remain cautious but are more optimistic than before. Thank you all for your prayers, and I ask to please keep Ethan in your prayers and ask for a full recovery.
