Hello everyone,
After years of being unable to work due to mental health diagnoses and trouble with medications, I'm now certified as a peer specialist. This means that I'm trained to offer counseling to others who are in recovery from mental health and/or substance abuse problems. I just interviewed with an agency on the 16th for part-time work. Please pray that I get hired in this capacity. I'm somone who has worked hard on my own recovery and I'm ready for this opportunity.
