I have asked and prayed constantly for God to instill my life. For the softening of my friends hearts, and to guide me in my relationship with Emily. All of this took a huge toll when I left for a job in January. I arrived back in May to see everything changed. I prayed hard and asked others to pray for me. Thus far, some friends are reaching out to me. I've helped in the salvation of my dad, and I've served God in various roles. Instead of waking every morning in regret and sadness, I wake up ready to serve God. I thank You all for Your prayers, and continued prayers! God Bless All of You!
Glory and Honor and Praise to the KING of kings and LORD of lords! Alleluia!

"And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten." (2 Chronicles 20:22)

Alleluia! Singing and praising your way to victory! Singing and praising your way through discouragement, oppression, depression, fear, and worry. ...and they were three days in gathering of the spoil it was so much. (v.25)

In this passage, driving an enemy out entitled the victor to all the spoils of battle. The army of Judah so routed the enemy that it took them three days to collect all the booty the enemy had left behind. And the victory was wrought not by fighting but by singing and praising the LORD!

The LORD responded to the prayers of His people by reassuring them with these words: "...the battle is not yours, but GOD's (v.15) Alleluia!

With this assurance, the king of Judah appointed singers and praisers to go out before the army and to praise the LORD. When they began to sing and praise, the enemy was defeated.

The key is to 'begin'. Victory is dependant upon doing something. To begin - to begin by counting blessings. To begin to enumerate past deliverances. To begin to praise the LORD. To begin to sing songs of deliverance. The LORD inhabits the praises of His people. (Psalms 22:3)

When the LORD's presence comes into our setting of praise and worship, the enemy is powerless against us, as we sing our way through the battle and win the victory the same way Jehosaphat's army won. Singing and praising the LORD is an effective weapon in our spiritual warfare.

Amen and Amen
